What bugs me most about Linkin Park is how it's them that got such popular longevity of the Nu-metal era. Nu-metal was already Weak Metal, but fuck man, go for System of a Down, Korn, or Disturbed at least. That Linkin Park has the reputation it has baffles me.

Its because they were poppy. IMO the pop aspect was always the weakest part of Nu Metal but that was more of the post grunge era infecting it
