Biggest effect of this is everyone realized the people from Phase that were in Japan are now in NY (no way Sakana is traveling back alone). Which might be why they made him delete the tweet.

Phase is way tighter with Luwud than anyone was with Coomalot so I doubt any of them see this is an issue. If anything they won't appreciate the scrutiny (that they have walked into with this themselves kek). Although it still will be funny to hear those that were there pretend not to be.

I don't really get why they do this, every time they like go somewhere or to a con, it's very obvious and it always eventually comes out.
He's absolutely trying to flaunt that he has privileged access to Phase that other fans don't. I don't think he's making these posts maliciously like Coomalot did, but I do think he got a bit of attention and he enjoyed it. He's on the road to becoming one of the more annoying kinds of orbiters who feel the need to constantly remind people that they're in the cool kids' club rather than letting the collaborative work they do together speak for itself, which comes off as leech-y and unprofessional even without taking vtubing's unicorn faggotry into account.
There's also an odd dynamic where he's going to dinner with a group of people he draws softcore porn of, which is... something.

Anyone even remotely familiar with vtuber fans knows that IRL interactions with males will cause problems. It doesn't matter if they are a flaming homosexual, a post-op MtF or even a pre-op FtM, it always starts a shitshow.
So, he is definitely doing it on purpose. And the fact that he has done it before suggests that the talents know about it and don't care that they are poking the unicorns.

He could just be stupid. I don't like to discount that possibility from any vtuber drama, because this industry has a lot of stupid people. Either way I don't think I'd put the blame on the talents for it solely because even if the person in the photo was okay with it, the guessing game his coy little comment started has implicated pretty much everyone in the company, even if they weren't even there.
I believe him when he says he's not in trouble with Phase, he probably took it down because people were shouting at him in the replies, but I think Fish should intervene sooner rather than later. Having a business partner not taking the talents' opsec seriously is terrible optics for a vtuber corpo.
