Yeah, it really is just the drinking she needs to get under control - but that's a big one because she is genuinely showing signs of addiction (getting absolutely wrecked to the point of others commenting on it at seemingly every gathering, and making excuses to herself on why she does it).Huh? I think the drinking thing is getting out of hand cause she's using it as a crutch for social interaction and her wanting to spend more time with people is increasing the frequency but outside of that she's been doing a lot better in her day to day, She's been taking care of herself by exercising even.
To be clear: I dislike drinking culture in general, I find being around drunk people unpleasant, and I believe the world would be a better place if people didn't drink. I'm not an unbiased commentator here. But I think what we've been seeing is going beyond social drinking and is becoming habit, which is where the problems begin.
Honestly the times she drinks is probably not too out of control on it's own, the main issue imo is her not realizing when she's probably making an ass out of herself with others with it. The fact that the first thing most of the girls had to say about her after the trip was some sort of "She drank a lot" is a bad sign about how much she's drinking per outing instead of using it to loosen up like she says. Going full washed instead of a light buzz for most outings seems like overkill.
The only reason I feel to give her some leeway is that she was sick as fuck and the stress (though no true excuse) of having your mom out of the country for the first time x work shit that has to be done had to fucking blow chunks on its own. Unlucky, still don't puke in public and drink to tolerate your friends/coworkers.

TBF, drinking in a social setting isn't the real problem as long as you aren't getting sloppy every time. I drink hard whenever I go on a trip.
It's when you are drinking at home by yourself when it becomes a problem. I am around a lot of alcoholics and girls who drink like this are getting more common due to societal changes.
Speaking from experience, they will never listen to warnings or advice on it. If anything, they will go harder because women just love being told what to do. Unfortunately something needs to go badly wrong for them to reconsider their lifestyle.
It's the "I need alcohol to socialise" part that's the biggest problem because it's a justification to herself on why she does it, which not only becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, but is also how addictions snowball - they realise that the vice helps them with one thing and then start realising the magic medicine can "help" with other things too, until they're just doing it all the time out of habit.
I find the binge drinking off-putting either way but some people genuinely just don't realise their limits and as long as they make their apologies for being obnoxious once they've sobered up it's forgivable. It's when they're stacking the party drunk on top of their already-existing "make myself comfortable" drunk that it's hard not to take note of it.
With how she was talking about it, like if she got super drunk, others would, or they'd at least want to hang out with her if she was super drunk. Oh, and I forgot, she said she's a happy drunk a long time ago, with her saying she feels she's better to be around if she's drunk. Yeah, I can see why she'd get drunk if she actually thinks that, or it's just her using an excuse to get drunk. Dealing with a super shitfaced drunk, even if you're a little buzzed is annoying, and no one wants to do it.
Nah, I disagree with you completely. Pippa was far worse mid 2023 to mid-late 2024, this is absolutely a better Pippa, especially with her content.
I think it's maybe a mix of doom and the fact her attitude itself has been a bit back and forth. Hard to say why but she bounces back and forth between being for lack of a better term and not really trying to poke at her, unapologetically bitchy and antagonistic but without the fun of her being willing or able to banter about it like before, into streams where she's clearly in a really good mood and everything just clicks. I'd say on average the streams this year have been trending upwards if you look at just the content, while her moodswings could for sure make some of them seem rough if you focus on that exclusively. Mixed bag but I'd say it's better than last years stress and doom most days.

I brought up the snowball stuff a long time ago, because I was being a concernfag about the alcohol a long time ago, she builds up a tolerance and has to drink more to feel it. Part of me wants to make a joke about the Roblox Sonichu Medallion curse hitting her, making her go the way of Rackets and Ralph with alcohol, but at this point it's not as funny when her drinking might actually be a problem.
Anyway, have this as a laugh I grabbed from /pcg/ that isn't entirely Pippa related.
In the lead up to moving back in with her parents, and for many parts of 2024, she seemed to be in a way worse of a mood, like she was snapping at chat a lot more about stuff. Even she noticed she was in that kind of mood and would always say that it was probably because she had more eyes on her than in the past. On top of her missing a lot of streams, it kind of felt like sometimes she just didn't want to stream.
