I'm not preordering the console either partially because I am poor rn but I don't want to hear "I'm not stupid" with what she buys when she spends thousands on marketable Hololive plastics.

Also Oblivion remake is pretty much as authentic as you can get since the gameplay is the same, bugs and all, so it would be a good stream excuse and an Oblivion playthrough would be kino. I don't see much of a reason to play the original since it's literally the same game under the hood with fancy graphics layered on top.

And it's not a mod...

It's a Body Type 1/Body Type 2 mod.

I'm pretty sure the stupid is more for buying a launch console over the Switch 2 itself though she has no use for it herself so maybe but unless your modding and want the most likely to be broken model a launch console are usually always a bad idea versus just waiting for early adapters to find the flaws and wait for revisions or the issues to turn up before making a move.

I'm hoping that's why she was saying "I want to experience it authentically." Because she thought it was a mod, not because she had another (misinformed) bad take. Going back it appears that she's just misinformed, yeah.

I played and loved Oblivion like 11 years ago on a 360 but man that game is ugly and the leveling fix was essential, it's also just a gorgeous remake. Definitely not a fan mod. Not sure where she got that.

That thing she thought she was late to is that meet and greet tomorrow I think. I know she pushes through things even when she's sick, but hope things can clear up for her quickly health wise. Trying to have fun and being sick as a dog is hell

It's Pippa, by the time she gets to reading the old Supa's from the next few days and gets reminded she mentioned Oblivion at all someone will have the new leveling system modded into original Oblivion and she can just play the best of both worlds
