I am going to do an end-of-year stream on the 30th of December. If anyone would like to make a nice thumbnail for it, DM me. I can pay in a free title, advertisement, or filthy lucre - I can actually do this now as PayPal has finally recognized my business account.
Squirrel girl was supposed to be a dumb, gimmicky character with a more light-hearted tone and then modern marvel did what they always do and ruined it.
No making the character who beats Galactus, Dr. Doom, and all the Avengers off-screen into a more serious series is not a good idea you fucking retards.
Is the thought that several of the (non spidey) marvel movies before Iron Man were good a hot take among casuals? Blade and Xmen were great for example.
Also Disney also had their own sci fi series, but they snatched up star wars too...

I saw Far From Home. It sucked. Almost all of the character of the first film was replaced with the bland MCU template. That was the last Marvel film I saw.
Thanos winning is the ending the MCU deserved. Just pretend they never followed up on the cliffhanger and all the Avengers committed depression suicide thereafter.
But for real though, I'm still pissed that they had SUCH a good mine for stories during the five-year-snap-gap and they NEVER tapped into it, the closest they got was the fucking retarded Falcon and Winter Soldier show which was pozzed to shit and made no sense. It's just like Pippa says, they can have the best setup for slam-dunks ever but they continually fail to capitalize and instead churn out slop for The Modern Audience™.
A friend really liked Logan so I recommended him read the Old Man Logan comics it's based off cause those are some of the last good ones and it turns out they gave it like 3 different shitty spin-offs and he ended up reading one of those instead. They don't understand that sometimes you should just tell a story and give it a concrete ending.
