That is actually pretty damn funny.

On a somewhat-Pippa related note, as i didn't want to phase-pollute EIEN/Idol threads and we just had yet another round of "Pippa discussing her stay in Phase" loop yesterday, how on Earth did Phase, a single one out of the early-20s western vtubing start ups, manage to keep its shit together and not only not fall apart, but achieve profitability and continue to grow to this day.
Every single other microcorp of 2021 is dead. A few of the ones that came later are dead or dying. And Sakana just goes on a staff hiring spree, getting like 4 new people in the last 3-5 months. How did the madfish do it.

Sakana had a background in business startups, management, business accounting, and online advertising before starting Phase Connect. He was also smart enough to see his deficiencies when they were pointed out to him and hired Muumi to cover them, as Salado pointed out.

She actually explained it. Plan was to have staff and Dizzy host the show each other week respectively, with the staff member talking about behind the scenes info or what they are working currently, but staff strongly refused as most of them don't want to be on stage. So the plan has changed to ease them into appearing as guests. Whether they will or not probably depends on them.

The problem with the claim that streaming is harder than a 9 to 5 is the people saying this get paid tens of thousands of dollars a month for streaming and never had another job in their lives, while the people that say streaming is easier than a 9 to 5 are the sort of people who've actually done a 9 to 5 job before they became streamers.

Still making my way through my nth playthrough of Deus Ex (but the first one in about a decade), and Good Lord, I knew this game predicted the future, but I didn't realize just how much. Someone on this writing team was really paying attention at the time, and now seems like Nostradamus to me.
