Surprises work well when most everything else is planned, and she has been having issues with her planned schedule all year - which, granted, she has acknowledged and promised to improve.

You know it might actually be the chinchilla, Her birthday message to natsumi included the line "lets play mahjong sometime". Natsumi is playing mahjong tonight. coincidence? yes! natsumi didn't even know about the message when she made her schedule
is she going to be there? most likely not, but I would upgrade the chance of Pippa making a guest appearance to like 2%.
