Speaking of, was watching Jets' stream on the day of the news:
- She and Mako are pretty focused on the tech side and don't plan on joining a corpo.
- Vershion will keep on Vershion-ing on. Clio will still be a part of Vershion and they all support her.
- Their last merch run went well but they haven't figured out how the future will work with Clio in phase.
- Sakana is painfully chill, too chill.

WIth both this and Mari's situation, the level of is honestly off the charts.
Then again, the situation is kinda atypical, as none of the previous Invaders had similar pre-existing support networks.
The dude's autistic. I don't mean that in a derogatory way; he genuinely shows symptoms of autism when he talks, in that he doesn't catch social nuances and comes off so hilariously blunt. I think there's a learning curve in communicating with him because of it, meaning people who've known him for a long time find him predictable while people who don't know him that well have no idea how to wrangle him.
Given Phase's already pretty loose rules on fan merch selling they should be fine, it's not like Phase has shut down people selling Phase merch at cons they themselves are selling merch at or anything like that. Maybe if they were a full blown corpo there might be issues but they are more a friend network aren't they so I can't imagine Fish would go too overblown about it, worst case I'd assume they would be pretty in the clear if they use her indie model and not her Phase model.
Yeah before this year I would've said that Idol was starting to catch up with Phase but they fucked themselves over and I guess that whatever they were doing was unsustainable in the long run

Nah. Phase started ahead of them and that gap has done nothing but gotten bigger since then. The most that could have reasonably been hoped for from Idol Corp was for them to be a viable competitor at the same tier as Phase Connect, to keep pressure on Phase to improve (particularly with merch shipping) and provide more viable places for talents to go corpo.
