Well from my perspective, now I was into anime but ever since getting into vtubers I more or less stopped (Literally in the last 3 years the only ones I have seen is Bochi the Rock and what was it, Ex arm the one Tenma got wasted to on Twitch). When Kizuna AI came out way back it seemed like pretty cool tech, and kind of a person acting crazy as an anime was really novel. And then later when Nijisanji and Holo hit the air of spontaneity in the live streams was something that Anime cannot have so despite being like, Anime themed I can see how some would not care for Anime/Manga but would be into vtubers
