How hard would it be for others to join in when they are that far along?

I have no experience with the game, but probably not too bad if the experienced players are willing to handhold and power level, which they've been doing anyway for the more homebody players like Shiori. High levels areas provide a lot of exp for everyone near enough in a party, and skill books naturally open up once the specialists max out.
