What does she mean by "neglecting holotori?" why not "neglecting mumei" specifically? What does she want them to do? Give them standalone events or smth?

That is just normal orange woman complaint. She complains publicly and privately about doing 3D all the time.

This kinda complaint has been proven to work as management actually listened (see myth concert) so she is now empowered to do it way more. Hiding it behind membered stream rather than publicly is improvement actually.

I personally dont think holotori can work as an actual idol group considering mumei has been physically and vocally unfit for the last 3 years and all of them lives in a different country. The middle management guy might have actually tried but failed the logistics of it all.

Imo, if she want to push for an idol group that is closer to a gen than just fun side projects, she has to move to japan. I think for example there are (irys bae subaru zeta) who are basically stranded from their own gen, good at dancing, idol pilled, living in japan will be willing to pursue something serious with kiara as long as she gave up living in europe.

People were just really complacent because between Sana's Graduation and Mel's termination there were no departures in Hololive. The time had to come where Cover actually felt pain again. Thankfully this seems more like a controlled pruning than open bleeding like Niji saw last year. It still doesn't look pretty because the parasocial aspect of vtubing hurts hard when it does happen.

Imo, if she want to push for an idol group that is closer to a gen than just fun side projects, she has to move to japan. She knows very well that she is missing out on opportunities by not living in japan
But she also has mostly her cats, but also her family and irl friends that keep her in europe

She already lived in japan for a while, and unlike probably Biboo, she knows what its like and its no longer her dream to live in japan
She admits that she might have some trauma regarding living and japan doesnt feel as safe there
The ultimate condition to move back would be to bring her cats, but she doesnt trust the pet storage in a plane wont kill her cats
She would rather stay in Austria than risk the health of her cats

plusm she would have to find a rental property again, that not only allows foreiners but a foreiners with pets. Kiara will not buy a second house in Japan. And who will even take care of her 1st house in austria and her garden?

Something else that seemed to fly under the radar is one of Mumei's statements from the graduation announcement: "I also want to leave you all with some final covers and a pre-recorded 3D stream which I'm preparing with third parties." (Timestamp: 5:41) It seems unusual that she wouldn't have recorded this at Cover's studio, despite the shortage of manpower; you could assume that a graduation stream would take precedence over anything else in the works, especially since she was just in Japan last month.

Bae said she would take all of April off and now is only taking the first 2 weeks. I can only assume that while people knew that Mumei would graduate the date of it came out more recently. Mumei's vocal issues mean that she needs more flexibility as well so with limited time a 3rd party might be easiest especially since she is in school now. This is years old, everyone is busy creating for summer. There are also plenty of examples of talents talking about starting on projects 6+ months out as well.

Additionally, other then Coco, all JP grads gave around 2 months or more notice while EN is all around a month. Why? Coco left quickly because of harassment as well. It could be EN policy or that Aqua/Shion/Chloe all think similarly. It would be nice to have more time

Just to add to this but they already reduced the submission deadline from the 12th to the 7th so if anyone wanted to submit I would do it sooner rather than later.

I'm just saying the logistics for a group consist of 1 austrian, 1 crippled wheelchair american, 1 id and 2 jp are much harder than a full group of JP living in JP.
Also have you not remember how much autism Holotori Dance is? Yes it's a great song, I do have it on blast in my playlist, but it's also in 3 different languages. It's a group that is very doomed since conception. UMISEA in a similar situation (without a cripple and an ID) also has only like 2 songs?

Holowitches & Shiranui are 100% JP group, not to mention Shiraken having Micomet in it. There is 100% a preferential treatment in the company for Micomet (and well, they sells). And uh Idk why you want Holotori to be like Holowitches, literally 2 of them graduated before it even fucking aired

. One of the most cursed grouping in holo.
