Button still misses Coco.
With these graduations Aloe's situation feels so much worse. Girl is dedicated and would have been and amazing talent for Hololive. I root for Delta and am happy the tree caught her. Coco as an affiliate would have been nice but I think even if she isn't as popular, KSON is happier and her impact on Hololive is magnified with her leaving.
Mumei coughing is a bit brutal. Towa being a cool character but also crying is peak gap. Girl is such an interesting person. It's nice that Mumei is likely to stay in touch. JP are able to go out to eat because of the proximity so I imagine it's harder for EN to stay in contact but I do hope Sora talks about eating with Mumei in the future.
This happens. I assumed that Cover would be able to edit videos timely and with ease but Altare disabused this notion. My main thought was frictions people didn't even realize were really there and they built up over time, getting mixed in with logical & appropriate corporate requirements.
Other things that can be annoying that we know of are: no showing skin for hand cams, no outfit/character changes that muddle IP recognition (not every can have car ears), game perms, English covers are prohibitively expensive, collab complications (Kiara and Pomu but I imagine the hoops needed to jump through are still there), content freedom (Chaama's dark storytelling, ASMR crackdowns), NDA restrictions (Coco/Kanata moving, Rushia and Mel termination), schedule issues (Kanata having multiple projects overlapping due to them being moved, studio booking), asset or production timelyness (Mumei's 1 million wish not completed or changed which speaks to inflexability), both the obsticles to getting a project greenlit (Suisei stalking Cover employees to get the hoshimachi project) and project stagnation (Kiara's Holotori issues and really her Holotalk which should have been promoted on main), logistic issues (Ina VISA, Mumei lodging), copyright claims (Fuck you SME, stop being a fucking POS for god's sake, if only JP had a copyright law similar to their libel/slander law then false strikes would cost these fuckheads money), sub twitter accounts (not explictly an issue but it does feel that the main twitter account needs to be "professional" for whatever reason), or/ and maybe manager friction (OMEGA!) .
It's not a comprehensive list but I would say issues aired are like the tip of an iceburg, most stuff is small and built up over time as you mentioned. Unknown issues contributing to low morale/frustration makes sense. Maybe the discord set up has issues for example ("the all out war" leak is a lesson). I am sure there are technical issues, why wouldn't there be considering many seem less then technological illiterate. In general I agree being a streamer for a company must be a consistant hoop obsticle course (like perm issues because of Capcom threating to drop nukes lives rent free for managers thus anything "built up over time" means nothing when Cover needs a DNA sample to gain perms.) I hope they don't have to fill out TPS reports or meet KPI's but any additional hurdle to those I listed feels annoying enough.
TL;DR - Working for the man, even Yagoo, isn't all it's cracked up to be
