That's because you are thinking about the current Disney. There was a time where it truly was an experience. You need to remember that there's also over half a century of goodwill that still rolls over generationally, and parents want their kids to have those same great experiences. But they have been pissing that goodwill down the drain by openly siding with degenerate child groomers, along with exacerbating the problem that actually gets people to stop coming: the slowly disintegrating service and experience. Disney is just another company, and they are vulnerable to failure just like everything else. They let their guard down and are now even forced to compete with Universal, who is right across the street essentially, and people generally now favor other parks over Disney by a larger margin than ever before.
