Was Yugo the guy with the pirated nipple porn?
That was Lauren Iroas, who also had a yab after that about Japanese gamer words, but that died down on its own.
Yugo Asuma is graduating
Though looks like he's been fired outright based on the EN statement. No graduation stream too.
I figured NijiEN Sad Day was about Yugo based on the timing of the tweets and Yugo's silence afterwards even during Xsoliel's debut, but I didn't guess graduation/firing. I didn't watch him much. I liked his singing, so that technically made him my favourite in Noctyx. Pain.
Following replies will assume Yugo was fired because the EN statement sounds like that.
Hey scuttle, get in here and explain all this:

Sound pretty serious and like it wasn't 'his' choice to graduate ("...we have decided to have Yugo Asuma graduate."). All content privated today (immediately?), all merch gone.
Seems like this is what the vague sad-posting a while ago was about, which makes the sudden announcement and deletion of content surprising. Maybe the sad-posting was a serious bonk where they said, "Hey, you need to do/not do stuff if you want to keep working here", and just now is when the firing took place after failing to meet demands?
From what Nina said, she was under the impression that whatever they were sad about would be announced soon afterwards. I think they all had that impression, because synchronised vague-posting on corpo accounts without an announcement is usually bad form. I guess it's not out of the question for a serious bonk to warrant an announcement in their minds, even if management didn't think so.
A more cynical take is that management tried to delay the firing announcement because of Xsoliel's upcoming debut. But Hololive's practice is to drop the bad news first and then drop the debut.
Yugo doesn't have the greatest track record if we're being honest. Early on he was put on hiatus because the JP audience got mad at him, he leaked some discord messages between him and management, he had that drunk stream that had to be taken down, and just a bunch more. Never thought it would lead to this though...
The funny thing about Noctyx is that all of them besides Fuuchan are on break right now. There were some rrats floating around of Noctyx having an irl meet-up, but that's obviously not happening.
With Rushia I was shocked but could see why breaking NDA was a firing offense, especially if (as it seemed later) she had been doing so since before the Mafumafu incident. With Vesper's suspension I was also shocked but filled in the blanks with rrats, and when he talked about his anger issues, a situation warranting a suspension became more plausible. Here I'm at a loss. IIRC Yugo's early hiatus was over the earthquake stream, where it seemed like he had good intentions but the JP audience got mad that he "wasn't taking it seriously". Being insensitive and rude or "rude" to senpais and having a drunken meltdown about gender issues may turn people off or cause seething, but none of those are firing offenses. I suppose multiple drunken arguments with management off-stream might do it, but unlike Vesper I can't speculate what each party would get heated about, and firing is the nuclear option for that. I'm also not sure why there's no grace period for the channel or merch.
Other than the earthquake stream, did Yugo go on a lot of breaks that might have been "voluntary" breaks after bonks?
And the Discord leak thing is new to me. What happened? If it was as bad as Rushia's case Yugo would have been fired earlier.
