Another problem is that in most cases the number can't go down. Even if 99/100 disagree with you, there is no easy way to show it. You can obviously take it to the comments, but that takes a lot more effort. This is one of the very few theoretically good things about reddit, but its worthless since anyone disagreeing gets banned off the echochamber anyway.Any platform that have a number going up and down is destined to go to shit

This is one thing i like about this forum: It takes the same effort to show that you agree with something as it takes to show that you disagree with something.
Relevant an Useful not just relevant but yeah people abuse the shit out of it in most places. The problem with Reddit is the upvote/downvote system is supposed to represent whether or not the comment is more/less relevant to the conversation in question...but people just use it to mass brigade their own mass-think ideology instead.
If this translated segment went on any longer I might have started crying...She's talked about this in the past so there's nothing really new about it, but it's nice of her to talk about it during her Live.
24:15 AZKi: I have been active mainly in singing. This year I had a chance to let people know about me through activities other than singing.
24:26 AZKi: I did start off as INNK Music
24:27 AZKi: I'm glad more people like me besides my singing.
24:41 AZKi: Now I belong to Hololive, but when I started I belonged to a music label called INNK.
24:42 AZKi: My path was not level. At first I belonged to INNK music.
24:48 AZKi: Though there was an end date for my prior activities, a new Beta route was begun, and I continued down that path
25:01 AZKi: After that INNK Music did close down
25:08 AZKi: And at that time, I had thought about graduating as well
25:30 AZKi: But I thank that I was able to continue down this path with everyone, and Cover as well for helping my decision
25:33 AZKi: I moved the world line from root alpha to root beta. I chose to continue my journey
25:41 AZKi: So many of you have pushed my back forward
25:54 AZKi: When the INNK label broke up, I also felt like graduating. But because of all the pioneers, I decided to continue.
26:01 AZKi: Throughout the difficult times that the past me made it through, I'd like to thank all of you Pioneers and myself from the past as well
26:07 AZKi: So that is why the AZKi of now is here today
26:10 AZKi: Thank you so much
26:22 AZKi: What sort of things will happen from here on out
26:26 AZKi: I'd like to find out!
26:31 AZKi: Well, that was a bit of an emotional speech
26:38 AZKi: So I'd like to move onto the next song soon
26:44 AZKi: And today's live is about destinations
About Sora:
AZKi: From the time I started, Sora was the one who I communicated with the most
AZKi: When I was feeling down or troubled, we chatted a lot
AZKi: Sora-chan and I had similar ways of working.
AZKi: As close friends, so many thoughts came flying out while singing Our Bright Parade
AZKi: Since the beginning of our activities, Sora and I have been together in hard times and happy times. We are war buddies and best friends.
Sora: I'm so happy to sing with you, thank you!
AZKi: Every time when I had a difficult time, Sora would always be there
AZKi: She'd suddenly appear telling me to do my best
AZKi: So I'd also watch her, and do my best as well
AZKi: That's why, I'm so happy to have you here with me
That's what I fear, just like tumblrfags infected the greater internet (including twitter) once that place banned porn, now they will abandon the rotten carcass of twitter to infest even more stuff.Might see a genuine exodus to a new site once the big names on there realize their tweets aren't getting seen.
People have been predicting the death/decline of vtubers since 2019 and the medium is still chugging along pretty well.Looking into the future, if no graduations happen this Summer and Fall (Please Haachama return and commit to streaming! Please nobody have a health emergency), and 2024 isn't a 2020 on steroids total catastrophe scenario. Hololive's prospects into the later 2020s may stay good. The medium is affordable and promotes escapism (Something much desired) better than most other forms of entertainment and as long as people have money (AKA pessimism for 2024 shenanigans) to afford vtuber models and give donations the type of culture seems resilient enough to stay relevant even if the faddish allure that it had 2020-2022 has warn off.
However I predict 2024 is going to make 2020 look sane and the golden days of Vtubing are going to stop hard.
Coni karaoke #2
Yeah she's a little off key sometimes, I wonder if she's used to singing another version of some of songs (like honey honey). I like her picks though. I think her model works well for her. It's a kind of cute and weird that certainly makes her stand out.I really like Menace's song selection and while she isn't a "good" singer, it works well for a karoake like this.
I'm not sure about the Coni model, its both technically impressive but also strange looking. I feel like she would be stuck in UOH under Jew Corp, but I'd like something a bit like, less fucking strange I guess I dunno
I saw a live walkthrough stream too, didn't spot any sad girls yet though. Maybe tomorrow.but you can find plenty of pictures on Twitter of the booths and shit

Isnt Funny how Holo and Niji dont bother with this big con and you still see a lot of their fans?So... I went to Anime Expo, because I am a fool. I won't share pictures, for opsec reasons, but you can find plenty of pictures on Twitter of the booths and shit. Here has been my experience:
More later if I remember more.
- People. Fucking everywhere.
- One Piece, Chainsaw Man, and Demon Slayer Cosplay are the name of the game.
- I saw about dozen or so Hololive cosplayers, 3 Nijisanji cosplayers (that I recognized), and 0 VShojo ones.
- Of the Hololive cosplayers, 5 were female. I saw a really good Mumei, Reaper Calli, Miko in her casual outfit, a Gura with spear, and a Suisei in her original outfit.
- Unknown gender (as in, I didn't get a good look) of the Hololive were: Kronii I only saw from behind, a Suisei with orange leggings that I only saw for a split second, another Mumei (could have been the same one, this one had a hood and I only saw for a split second), and a Marine I only saw from behind. I think I briefly saw the top half of an Ame cosplayer, as well.
- The rest were all males: at least one Marine, at least one Gura, a fat and short brown guy half-assed dressed as Sana (hair and white cutoff shirt were the only similarities), a Suisei, Male Okayu, and probably others I have blocked from my memory.
- I saw a girl as maid Pomu (blessed), an Elira briefly from behind as they walked away, and a twink or girl as Kyo (cursed).
- Omocat line was ridiculous
- They had a couple big Hololive Weis Schwarz promos in the enterance to the exhibition hall.
- HoloMeet merch and also some extra merch was in the Kinokuniya booth. I got IRyS nametag thing and nameplate, but the phone stand for her was sold out (the only one whose was). They had a corner of Nijisanji merch with both JP and EN livers that was packed with their typical unimpressive merch like buttons and acrylics, except some small plushies I didn't have much time to look it, either than seeing a Hoshikawa one. I maybe would have gotten Selen or Pomu something, but lol 2%.
- Gundam Place was impenetrable.
- I saw the VShojo stand, they had a booth where you could get VTuber-ified with Mocapi (I think) and that was the only part of it I bothered to see.
- Chumbuds all looked exactly how you would expect them to.
- Lots of the black HoloMyth Omocat shirts around, including on some girls.
- Saw some foreign dudes sporting Polka and MiComet happis. Good taste.
- Saw some people with various birthday merches.
- Good smile booth in the enterainment hall had some giant chibis of Miko, Korone, Fubuki, and Suisei you could take pictures with. I did not.
I guess I should have bothered to see if she was going. I didn't see her because I didn't bother to even look the the VShojo booth in its entirety, oops.Isnt Funny how Holo and Niji dont bother with this big con and you still see a lot of their fans?
Also did you see Kson in the VS stand? She took a lot of pictures with fans but you cant see them thanks to French people
