I have noticed a bunch of the bigger/more popular Western Vtubers have followed and retweeted idolEN. This popped up.



Makes me wonder how much of the hype is because they are getting paid but from a marketing standpoint (if you have a few thousand dollars around to drop on marketing) this seems to be something new and pretty smart. Many companies fail to get off the ground because there really isnt much hype around the debuts becaues no one knows them. Why not bypass that by throwing money into the problem and getting others with a huge following to focus on you?

Reminder that the one vtuner and her collaborators that entered the Villain Vibes contest (and won) exist. Might not be quite the sound you're looking for (not a metalhead, can't give opinion), but I feel it would be a disservice to not mention it.
