While it is a funny thought now, I wonder how bad things would become for her if she did leave Hololive. It's a depressing thought to imagine her picking up old bad habits or something else.
Maybe I'm just being pessimistic, but at this point the future isn't looking to bright.

It is a tragedy that Gawr Gura's life was ended so soon, and especially by something as devastating as alcohol poisoning. Her untimely death is a harsh reminder of the dangers of substance misuse and addiction, and we should all take this as an opportunity to reach out and help those in need.
She will be missed dearly, but we can take comfort in knowing that she will continue to bring smiles to people's faces, even in death.

Since we are in the topic of Gura graduation, I feel like there are still enough "green flags" going against it.

1) At the end of 4th Fes, she was teased as playing a huge part in Hololive Summer, last year summer event started at August. Also, along with everyone else, she will be part of Hololive City.
2) Cover just released her MMD model, I checked and graduated/terminated members don't have their models available.
3) In one of her recent member streams, she talked about working on a bunch of projects, even went into more details on one of them (animation)

Of course, none of these points matter if the decision to graduate was made very recently, but I know the common rrat is that "she wanted to graduate long ago but Cover force her to stay until after the concert".

Would it really do anything? the girl hasn't been streaming regularly for what six months, at this point all the people who wanted to watch her have moved on to something else and just go "oh! gura is streaming again" and tune in but I think the core audience isn't there that much anymore. You're right they're probably just paying her to not graduate because if she bails they lose one of their biggest marketing tools. As time goes on we might see more of this happening, it's better to have the talent in retainer like a lawyer instead of burning the character and lose on all the money the character brings.

I fairly confident that if you ask her fans, many would rather she stay and make occasional appearance than to straight-out graduate. Only bunch of people I can see actively wanting her to graduate are antis/trolls who can't stand the fact that she is still in the company and making money despite not doing anything.

As time goes on we might see more of this happening, it's better to have the talent in retainer like a lawyer instead of burning the character and lose on all the money the character brings.

They also get to sell merch. Even if she isn't streaming, just being not-graduated means they can keep selling her merch. It will still sell like hotcakes if it is good enough.

I will be the bootleg phase weekly since I keep searching the tag for clips to watch from time to time. I'm not going to go full autist going through each girl in phase but if you're a fan of a particular girl you should tell them to make a tag for their clips if it's easy to search I'll have a look. The youtube search is completely fucked and dies the moment I try to search by upload date and even then is filled with low effort clips and azehara in the mix. The main focus of what I share here will come from twitter since it doesn't die when I tell it to show me shit from latest so that's good.
I like to see that our fellow inmates who are clippers are consistent, you're like half of what comes up when you look at the tag, I hope more people start clipping because you might end up being the only clips some weeks. I'll divide the clips by girl so you can skip if your oshi isn't here and if she isn't here be the change you want to see in the world and become a clipper today or tell her to make a clip tag.
To avoid too much spam, if a channel has multiple clips of a girl, I'll feature one clip of each channel. Will try to pick the best in my subjective opinion.

This week there's plenty of Remi to go around thanks to remilia's toilet being the change in the world clipping his oshi but the highlight must be her explaining chat how she gets away with things cause she's cute.

The first channel to clip Airi is Pontiff of Ponwolf, the clear highlight is his clip of Airi losing her last fuck during her Erina collab and cheating her way into victory and freedom. The other channel who clipped Airi this week uploaded her karaoke from offkai and a compilation of her doing questionable things in 12 minutes and I must highlight that one because she really gets into it.

From my experience trying to search for YouTube clips of Pippa it's best if you daily search for posts made today because otherwise you'll be getting a lot of irrelevant shit near the bottom before no more results pop up that makes exhaustive searches much more time consuming. It's not a pretty method but it's the best one I've got as long as you don't forget to do your dailies.

Lia mentioned a time back in September where her mental health wasn't doing well. She flat-out said she didn't know how much longer she wanted to go on before "uninstalling". She went on her hiatus to get herself together, and things have gotten a lot better since then. Not perfect, but better. She's been keeping busy to keep her mindset away from that. Thankfully, she said looking back on it, what she's doing now makes her happy, and she feels dumb for almost giving into that. She's now of the mindset that "things get better".

I'm sure a lot of people have noticed that she seems to be generally more happy nowadays than she was in the past. It's just nice to hear her confirm that she's doing better nowadays. Even since September, there have been a few bad incidents with her like the ending of her donothon, but she's been pushing through. I'm actually in the middle of typing out a lot of my thoughts about how much she's been doing and how well she's been doing lately, but I wanted to note this down since I'm listening to her stream right now. Also, Tenma's on stream with her right now, possibly on meds, and it's going about how you'd expect it to go.

I guess this is as good a time as any to explain how I became a Liacon.
Like a lot of people here, I was first introduced to Phase by a certain moldy rabbit mercilessly dunking on a West Memphis boghog and until Fall 2022 I only really watched Pippa until I heard about the drama regarding some of the streams Lia was having (Mortuary Assistant, Stray) on the homeland. I started watching her streams as I did find her entertaining and when she took her 2 week mental health break I was really concerned. I decided to send my first maro (of which the contents are private )
In her return stream, she said she received so many kind maros and that she doesn't want to respond to them in order to read them whenever. (timestamp below)

Is my maro the one Lia reads whenever she feels down? I don't know, but since then, the zoomer's hooks have been stuck in my skin ever since at the mere thought.

I honestly wouldn't be too shocked if this happened, if its for health reasons, living situation reasons, or just pure disinterest in hololive, it seems clear to me that Gura just can't be a streamer anymore. Now i fully believe cover would do anything in their power to keep Gura on board, she's worth vastly more as merchandise and a mascot than a streamer. But if anyone in HoloEN is likely to leave, i agree with the redditor that its gura I'd put money on.

Now I don't think Gura leaving would be a massive impact to Hololive or even HoloEN, you'd 100% have some drama and some fallout from it, but all of HoloEN would bounce back pretty quickly. The Biggest hit would be to Hololive merch, as now Gura is pretty much unusable given her departure, and they'd need a new face for HoloEN.

For the record i don't really think Gura will graduate, i am still firmly in the "too big to fail" or i guess leave camp, but stranger stuff has happened.

While I seem pretty fucking pessimistic about the chances of a Gura birthday stream this year; I don't really think she's going to graduate at all. Not in the slightest.
She's the kind of dumbass that once chanced upon Hatsune Miku on youtube, watched this stupid green-haired anime chick twirl leeks around on a 3D stage and promptly decided that was what she wanted to be when she grew up.
She pretty much said that this was like living the dream for her, and I believe that firmly.

She won't graduate unless there's some really extreme circumstances behind it, and that's exactly what worries me when she talked about her personal health and mental issues back then.

This is the kind of shit that should be said publicly, tbh. At this point, assuming she really is working on projects behind the scene, the lack of any communication ar all is just manufacturing unnecessary drama and breeding rats.

Learning this, though, I guess we could see her drop an animation + birthday live like last year. I think it would have been a good idea to not keep them a secret, if it does happen. But maybe it will shit people up for a while.

Aside for maybe Bae who doesn't have the subs/revenue, I don't see anyone being a good replacement for Gura. Mori might have the subs but she isn't a good poster character I feel. I would vote for Kiara but I am not sure if she has it too. Mumei perhaps? I can see her doing it but same as Bae she doesn't have the widespread popularity Gura or Mori have.

Like most people here I got into Phase Connect through Pippa but really I prefer Lia. Pippa can be funny, I like it when she reacts to paranormal nonsense the most, but her menhera seems more uncontrolled and she just comes off as more bitter and pessimistic. She seems like she is intelligent but intentionally stunts and harms it by being stubborn and contrarian. Lia is just more positive to watch.

I think I echo all of this. I still really like Pippa, but her streams feel more skippable if I'm busy or not interested in the topic, whereas I feel like I can watch Lia doing anything, and I don't know if I can say why. Maybe it's parasocialism, maybe it's boomer hormones making me want a surrogate zoomer daughter to hang out with, maybe you're on to something with the cynicism of Pippa's streams making them a bit harder to watch. Either way it's great to see her doing better both emotionally and professionally.

Near the end of it, she let on stream a guy that she apparently knew IRL and they talked about going to cons and stuff. Later, after he left the call, she started crying, and that segment of the donothon was privated. I don't think anyone knows exactly what the problem was but one rrat is that she got bonked by management for having a male voice on stream, or maybe just someone that managers hadn't vetted first.

You're forgetting though that in those Gen 3's is the blue kusogaki and Gura already fulfills that role.
