I wish that was the only guy that did it. But all the girls seem to have at least one retard that is just always sending a bunch of annoying, lomg messages making the girls' big events about them rather than celebrating whatever it is. It would be one thing if it were just one message and a bunch of blank ones, but it never is.

My question is simple. When you are not live, how is someone supposed to know you exist? This is not a problem for youtube. If you get lucky you end up on some vod section to watch?
I believe that is what most are referencing when they say you do not have no discoverability on twitch as you are only discoverable when live, youtube you have easy to access vods, the options for shorts and videos and a presence beyond a landing page when you are not live.
For the record, I dislike both platforms, it's just a matter of rather you prefer being fucked over by someone who calls themself a they/them animalkin or a rogue ai that runs most of youtube.

Theres basically no way to discover people that aren't currently streaming on Twitch. The only way to find offline channels are to either know who they are and search for them or click their name in another streamers chat and go to their channel. Streamers can do vod reruns when they are offline, but those rarely get past double digit views on big channels.

Okay, I get what you're saying, but I don't find myself getting upset with this. In a way, I do cease to exist when I'm not streaming. And I don't think showing site visitors people who are not streaming is the job of a streaming site. At any rate, nothing but my own laziness/busy-ness is stopping me from posting more YouTube content and thus increasing my "offline visibility" there.
