I am going to do an end-of-year stream on the 30th of December. If anyone would like to make a nice thumbnail for it, DM me. I can pay in a free title, advertisement, or filthy lucre - I can actually do this now as PayPal has finally recognized my business account.
Thank you Omega SImp for releasing a new clip further illustratrating shiina's precarious childhood, specially after it we talked about it yesterday.
We know you're here.

Mumei is taking more time off to see a doctor and her grandparents. It looks like the coughing isn't getting any better and it's really fucking up her voice. Get well soon, Moom.
I personally think this is the most successful someone can get after leaving a corpo: PmaruSama (former Kaguya Luna)
Actually good songs ,thousands of views in each video and millons in cover songs and even her own concert 3D solo
its hard to not only retain so many fans but also gain new ones while doing it
I know this is like necroing an old topic, but now that a few weeks have passed from Henya's debut I gotta admit I'm kinda glad she got into vsohoe. This isn't a compliment for the company (fuck vshojo), but I gotta admit the fanbase they have is big enough to have several clippers with a wider reach than what she had before in her PL. I've barely seen her outside some twitter memes and forum recomendations and now she's popping in my suggestions fairly frequently.
IDK if she has made any comments about it, but she seems happier, and that's enough for me.
I did like Yugo myself (I'd say Uki is the collab ruiner more than anything tbh); very high-tier voice, fairly comfy at times, and their organized activities near the end made Yugo start to feel like a valuable bridge between EN and JP. Still, you can't really deny that getting shitface blitzed and then weeping about how you wish you were a man IRL, both in the middle of a stream, didn't look very good in a professional setting, and made them look like a time bomb waiting to blow up. That, and their community seemed like one of the more worrying ones to have. On the other hand, with Zaion's manifesto out and about, I also can't help but retroactively wonder how many of those "management issues" may have actually been petty shit and nothingburgers.
After Zaion I wonder if Yugo got done dirty too
Love the new model tho I'll miss the music teacher streams he did with the other ENs
Merry did the new lore vid because of course he did
On one hand:
- On-stream history of menhera and drunken meltdowns, and poor social skills in certain collabs, which one can imagine causing problems behind the scenes.
- Unlike Zaion's case, whichever managers Yugo crossed had at least one molecule of professionalism between them and kept the separation notice professional, instead of throwing out a bullet point list that can backfire.
On the other hand:
- Looking at the timeline of events I wrote back then, on 23 Nov 2022 Yugo said he would be taking the week off, and 1 Dec was his last tweet, followed by sad tweets from the other NijiENs. Regardless of whether the week off was genuine or a stealth suspension, if we take the tweet at face value, the earliest date at which Yugo knew his job was in danger is 23 Nov, only 8 days before what seems like the internal announcement. That doesn't sound like a long time for resolving this level of conflict, but maybe I'm wrong.
- Zaion claims that stealth suspensions came in because of the circumstances surrounding Yugo's graduation. You can say that's on Yugo screwing up so often that the company needed new ways to punish him without looking bad, but wow. (Alternatively, looking at Zaion's statement again: "Because of what happened with a prior graduation in the company, I had already been told by my senpais that oftentimes suspensions would be disguised as 'breaks' by the talents. Now, I understand why." She might not be claiming that the practice started with Yugo, but that Yugo's stealth suspensions were particularly notable within the company - possibly for their frequency or the nature of the offenses, or something else.)
-- The only suspicious break I can recall was Yugo's break after the earthquake info stream (link to @Scuddle 's KF post) which was done with good intentions but poorly received by certain JPs. If the break was a stealth suspension, that's pretty dumb of management. Like Zaion's stealth suspension, this break occurred very near to Yugo's debut.
Yugo announced he is taking a one week hiatus as a result of criticism for his handling of the earthquake stream.
I was extremely vexed by this so I had to do some Yugo egosurfing to figure out what people were saying. It seems some Japanese didn't like the fact that Yugo's tone wasn't serious enough, and that he was laughing at some things chat was saying (even though none of it pertained to the earthquake).
Others, however, have criticised the critics, stating that Yugo translating swathes of information into English has invaluably helped/saved/prepared Japan-based foreign nationals who are not accustomed to natural disasters and didn't grow up with mitigation training.
Overall, though, there wasn't exactly a 'backlash'. None of the comments I read on either side were malignant, and there wasn't all that many of them.
I cannot load the full-size image, so have a screenshot of Yugo's announcement for ants.
- The NijiENs were shaken enough to vague-tweet instead of waiting for the official announcement.
- Uki said that Noctyx "fought for Yugo". (All of Noctyx were on break when the announcement dropped, but Fulgur explicitly denied that the break was related.)
I think Ex-Enchantasia deserves mention even though they technically quit instead of getting booted, because quitting en-masse means there were severe disagreements with management, and also means that they are collectively betting on doing better without their corpo.

Her big dream, even as Pikamee, was to one day have a 3D debut. I never thought about it much before, but that could be another reason she left for VShojo. She sees Kson doing stuff like a 3D concert for her anniversary, and I am sure she wants part of that. That was something GYARI and Voms couldn't give her, else they would have by now.
Stop the presses! Mozumi Pichi just dropped a schedule for this week!
And there's waiting rooms up, including for today's drawing stream!
I for one welcome the return of my (white) oshi to streaming proper, hopefully she got that merch nonsense taken care of and can focus on being a silly little beast on-stream full time
