Konosuba is supposed to be fast-food entertainment that gives you a giggle, SAO wants to be a deep insightful sci-fi action. and it fails to do that. That's why one is better than the other. TLDR; I'm right

I'm 5/5 for dropped, and the "Popular makes me less inclined to watch it" is a bit more nuanced. Cause I agree it applies to Rick and Morty, but then she goes and praises My Little Pony.

Hololive - Get their fucking permissions department fixed, give Amelia Watson giant sack of cash with no restrictions, figure out some America based studio fix for 3D stuff so your EN branch doesn't have to keep making trans-pacific flights to do 3D stuff.

Niji - feather the brakes on new EN members a little bit. Invest some goddamn money in making your talent's models more expressive and your engine stronger. Take the Chinese dicks out of your mouth.

Phase -


Idol Project - I expect them to be the competition for Phase in the small corpo market. They've exploded comparatively versus others from the small corpo market who have maybe 1-2 talents stand out (Tsunderia, PRISM, Kawaii, etc). Though I'm hoping the small corpo market overall gets healthier.

Indies - I hope the realization you need to actually work hard to be a streamer purges the FotM leeches and commie/twitter scum who are attempting to infest the hobby.

Twitch - fix your shitty web player, get a better recommendation algo, stop yourself from becoming chaturbate-lite

Youtube - Fire Susan and put someone in who will actually run the company for a way the creators want, not only the advertisers. Keep adding to your live chat system so it more rivals Twitch. Allow cross-channel emotes.

Idol Project - I expect them to be the competition for Phase in the small indie market. They've exploded comparatively versus others from the small indie market who have maybe 1-2 talents stand out (Tsunderia, PRISM, Kawaii, etc). Though I'm hoping the small corpo market overall gets healthier.

Kawaii should hopefully get a decent boost later this month with the 3D debuts for Gens 1 and 2. The community poured $120,000 into those models so they’d better be top notch. I would worry about being overly optimistic but with 120k I feel as if you’d have to try to fuck it up. Here’s hoping for the best, I guess.

There's still a chance they could pull it back into the harbor but they just seem to have no interest to, and let's be real here - the softcore pornography brings in some big money, so they're disincentivized to stop it from a purely numbers standpoint. So barring some massive leadership shake-up - like, a "we're fine losing a massive source of income for the platform in the short term as a gamble towards making it healthier in the long term"-level change in direction, which is just not the sort of thing FAANG-sized companies do very often - I don't think it will happen.

Twitch the platform supposedly makes more off of ads than subs, so if advertisers get into a moral crusade about it I could see it. Any kind of content that runs against the corporate moral zeitgeist is somewhat risky for the business especially since Twitch runs ads platform wide without distinguishing what streams suit the advertiser.
This is the reason for stupid YT changes like less swears at the start of videos too, it's just been that YT was responsive to advertiser whims from the start while Twitch has only gotten that way lately.

Nina streamed Part 1 of the Steam Sale 6 days ago, so I was thinking people will start recommending some obscure jams (gems?). Guess what, people still go "Hollow Knight, Outer Wilds" - Nina's Outer Wilds stream is scheduled for tomorrow. I was hoping to find something like MyAnimeList for games, and there are several of those, but they are not that great from what I learned.

lol, Disgaea 6 had a Hololive collab, and Nina was freaking out. She wants to play it now, but says this game is not the best Disgaea game.

• She is still catching up with recommendations from the first stream, so not gonna take chat's recommendations today
• Hollow Knight is too long, she played it before and watched other people play it
• Nina talked a lot about Shin Megami Tensei games, she is a SMT fan, started to like Persona
