I liked there friendship they made in crisis core. I think me playing Crisis Core before 7 made me feel Zack's death more and enjoy Cloud as a character trying to live up to his friends legacy.

I have flat feet and have no issue going on hikes and the like, I've done day long treks so I can't imagine it's that bad for her.
Also, according to google:
