I actually heard someone make the opposite argument: maybe 2-3 years ago some people made it big partly through lucky breaks, but now the scene is stable and the corpos organised enough that people will reliably rise to the level that their combination of talent and grind merits.

That's because they ride on the corpo clout which got lucky some years ago with some talents. For indie streamers and new corpos nothing have changed.

Man, thats bullshit. Talent and grind almost never pay off without luck. You can be the absolute best in the world and it won't mean shit if you're talking to an empty room.

That's the sole motivator for why its good to be spamming your shit in every platform available. It increases the chance that you get that lucky hit and there isn't a reason to not do it, but at the same time the odds are low enough that it likely won't make a difference if you do.

Honestly I dont see Scarle leaving because how well she is doing. But her not joining the RP itself is weird because she is a huge minecraft nerd who has done minecraft streams every year prior.
