Alot of older games and titles has homo shit in it, you know. It was very normal for a customizable protagonist to seduce both gender, see mass effect 3.

in Cyberpunk you can only seduce one of the girl if you chose to be female, and I think something similar with male too?

There is rampant lesbianism, (homo much less though) in league and their anime Arcane.

People bitched about the lgbt character in The last of us 2, but the game was still a commercial success and the thing people bitched about was how she warped the story and has nothing to do with gender.

Ovetwatch itself was literally "LGBT people with guns", it doesnt even have a story. But it was massively successful during launch, the game only died because blizzard sucks. There is also that one game with a lesbian who can turn back time.

These "woke" games usually failed because their core gameplay are shit and their story are also shit. That is it.

The culture war makes you think there is a push back from gamers against woke game. Nope "gamers" do not care. Both side of the woke culture war people dont play games. They are too busy shitflinging online and watching rightwing grifters to tell them how they should feel. Meanwhile the woke left crowd never made it past twitter and sometimes bluesky.

I was around during the days of ME 3s launch. Besides the ending a ton of people shit on the fact that they only made romances for the gays. Yes women could be gay in the prior ones but 3 went out of the waY to gay-ify things. I remember femShep fans being quite pissed they were only given the gay while one of their LIs died and the other cheated on them to knock up a chick off screen (spoiler, it was the black guy LI). Plus as much as I like 3 it never hit the level of 1 or 2, though I doubt the added gayness hurt it (it didn't help it)

Overwatch had all that gay shit after it was a success. It always came off as extremely pandery.
