Moving this here because I think this conversation is fitting for corpos as a whole rather than just Phase.
I think stream times are something corpos should be considering as early as recruitment, since overlap has been a problem in Phase for years, while the dead hours have only recently started to get filled in. Some overlap is going to be inevitable when you're working with independent contractors who mostly have other commitments, but it's counterintuitive to have the talents cannibalising each other's audiences by being on at the same time, especially if they have a similar appeal (Pippa and Jelly, looking at you).
This may seem like a bizarre example to bring up, but a recent fascination of mine has been Keemstar's "Lolcow Universe", a podcast network spawned off of he and Boogie's Lolcow Live channel.
Now, to be clear: the content associated with it is the most godawful shit you could imagine, it's a bunch of no-name retards sperging out while screaming about the other hosts' prior spergouts. Imagine Internet Bloodsports, but they can't say Yamanba words, and the scripted parts are even more insultingly obvious. But the thing is, people are engaged, there are fans watching this shit all day, and that's because the streams are scheduled in a way that allows success from the more popular shows to trickle down to the newer ones. When one stream ends the next one starts. They never overlap. They have a rewind show. It seems very carefully designed so that even if people are primarily fans of one of the shows, they'll stick around for the others.
This isn't the kind of thing you could recreate 1:1 with vtuber agencies for a handful of practical reasons and the fact it would be criminal to tell a good yapper that their timeslot is up (fuck you, archivebro), but it does go to show how beneficial properly planned out group schedules can be. If I recall correctly having designated start times was something Idol tried at one point which one of the few actually productive things Aviel contributed, and from what I remember it seemed to work out for their first EN gen (until his mismanagement pissed the talents off enough that they'd go AWOL for weeks at a time, obviously).
Moving established streamers' schedules around wouldn't be smart this far in, but any new corpos (or existing corpos launching new branches) should probably take the time to sit down with the talents to plan out a schedule as a group, because that'd probably benefit all of them over time.
