Whatever you think of her reasons, is this not being professional? If there is drama stemming from this, I don't think you can reasonably blame her for it.
Dude this is creating drama out of nothing. She has never interacted with Kirsche from what I know or remember. As for dropping a brand, you dont have to say anything. Just drop the thing.
I have a feeling that this is similar to the HeavenlyFather thing that happened a week or so ago. Retards in his audience started brigading him to drop GamerSupps because LE NAZI FOX. He came out and made some wishy washy statement about not standing for any of that shit (doubt he has even seen Kirsche and is just going off what his audience is telling him) but he couldnt drop the company because he was in a contract with them (if its such a problem, just end the contract). Anal Violence took this as a win and used it to dunk on the nazis only for him to realize he got used like a tool and ended up calling the Macaroni Pussy Enjoyer out.
Rin was a real flash in the pan. I remember during Idol nobody would shut up about her. Then she went indie and got a tranny for a manager and it was like switching off a lightbulb and I had to think hard to recall who she was when this was posted.
The performative cancellations of gamersupps sponsorships by creators who don't push in a year what Kirsche pushes on a per-stream basis will never not be hilarious for me.
To the mob all they can see is the YT subs number. They are as retarded as some of the sponsors that throw away money by giving sponsorships to creators that dont have a strong and dedicated fanbase. As for her content. I had stopped watching most of Idol before the BraveGroup merge but going indie has not really helped any of the girls gain any sort of traction. Juna is doing ok I guess and Rye is getting back into things with her new model and shit but everyone else seems to have burned out or flatlined.
Rin gamed the shorts on youtube better than anyone else years ago. But if we're comparing astroturfing via clips and sharing, she is but a drop in the ocean that is Bijou.
Its the zoomer audience that clicks on the funny thing but doesnt watch and doesnt support. Her CCV went up a fair bit at her prime but I dont think it passed more than 1500 despite having an astronomical amount of views on her shorts. Its not a good audience to have either because whenever you release long-form content and the algorithm takes into account your large number of subs versus what percentage of your subs actually watch your shit it nerfs you.
The fuck is this thing? Reminds me of Rye. I like her.
She is capable of being genuinely entertaining. But it seemed like after a while she decided that was too much work, and she'd rather just fuck around and repeat the same jokes over and over while doing endless pikmin streams..... I think she'd lost a significant chunk of her audience even before she went indie.
I think she burned herself out on the shorts.
The middle manager in me says Rin doesn't get a lot of comissions from gamersupps for her affiliation to matter to her or gamersupps. its a vague statement, she doesn't post her sales to brag, there's no downside to it since there's nothing to lose. if it was a good income, there'd be more to say than "i quit because of kirsche or sinder who knows im not going to say!
it's a good pr stunt because i assumed she had the post corpo indie career of being forgotten and falling into irrelevance. (playboard says i'm right)
Im willing to believe it. As far as PR stunt goes yes, its somewhat good as it brings her up and shines a light on her (i cant believe the last time I saw any of her tweets show up on my timeline) but at the same time it can backfire because now she puts herself in a position where any and all of her sponsors will get scrutinized and any other creator that might not be of the same alphabet soup flavor or has said controversial shit, she will get brigaded to drop that sponsor.
Anyways this shit was scheduled to go up today. Shame it was already edited if not I would have added this on top of the Heavenly thing:
