I will try not to sperg too much over this (I won't try very hard), but this "muh twelve hours" shit is why so many modern games are padded out with hours upon hours of pointless slop, that ends up diluting the actual intended experience and puts you off ever replaying them later down the line. Very few single-player games outside of only the best RPGs have 30+ hours of actual worthwhile content, so it's better to wrap it up before it starts becoming a chore, rather than waste the player's time with countless missions consisting entirely of "look at the map and go to the waypoint".

Astro Bot might be twelve hours long, but it's twelve hours of pure, uninterrupted video game. It getting some recognition is a good thing.

Regardless of Cover's fancy tech, it does seem like it would be easier for an outside company that has more broad tech and formats handling events on an individual basis rather than a company that handles its own variants of tech in house because it IS a tech company

There's at least a dozen full time salaries to pay in the studio. They can coast a year or two more, but then investors gonna start asking questions, especially if concert/event revenue won't grow a lot. Doubly so with Anykuro doing their own studio to supposedly ramp up concerts, and who knows what Brave gonna do, they have means for big production (likely stagnate and ditch all vtubers in the end but who knows)

Except that we have known even before the studio was complete that one of the reasons some talent cant always get fancy 3d events is because their 3d facilities were constantly overbooked, and quite recently, iirc it popped up that they have a deficit of workers compared to the workload currently on it

So their 3d tech staff are part-timers who mainly work at other places then? Because i don't see any other possible explanation. With their number of talents, even with double that, it's plain impossible to load studio at full capacity without turning it into Filian&Zentreya type of streams.
