I'm operating off of the kind of shit I've had to see/deal with in my area. You've definitely not seen the kind of horseshit 'apartments' being pushed for $1500+ the last 8 years. Subletted bedrooms in a larger house with bare minimum maintenance and repairs being done on the shared appliances. Unless someone else wants to spring to buy a whole ass oven you just have to make due with the fact that the oven coils are burnt out and one of the stove burners is just straight up missing for some reason.

Of course they were the worst company. They failed. WACTOR and Nijisanji are still in business. NEXAS didn't even last a year. There's no possible question in my mind that they're a worse company.

There are worse things than closing shop or going bankrupt, and we shouldn't excuse companies for them any more than we would individuals.

I highly doubt that. The issue with those Bilibili regulations is that they were vague enough that they can be openly-interpreted whichever way Chinese regulators see fit if/when they decide you're a target. It may work for Cover with their sacrificial ID chuubas on these past few occasional Bilibili streams but who knows next time with their other talents. There's no such thing as "TOO BIG TO FAIL" in China. That's a country who regularly jails their own billionaires for getting too greedy or having the gall to voice some mild criticism of their economic policy (e.g. Jack Ma). You don't demand special treatment there - you get away with getting treated well until the other shoe drops and you finally don't.
