The fact that the contractors were all already properly compensated by the time this report came out goes a long way, too. They even had some contractors come out to defend them saying other companies are way worse about it than they were. Ina's passport fuck up is probably a bigger PR hit than this was in terms of losing good will.

Thats the biggest takeway that softens the blow of such a fuckup, Idol had a public callout first and IIRC some people who worked with Niji also have aired out grievances about being paid, atleast in the EN space if im not remembering incorrectly. I think one of the reasons artists appreciated Selen was because she often made big efforts to compensate them when Anycolor sometimes dragged its heels

The ironic thing of Nijisisters using this as a W for them when Niji fucked over artists too and then shoah-ed one of the talents who appreciated them the most

Jesus they're pumping out events like there's no tomorrow lately, I hope nobody gets burned out from all of the work.

Holo has had bureaucratic fuckups due to expanding quickly and being japanese, and the most we know is that they went overboard with revisions, and Artists are coming out mostly in support when even a new law would make them be fully in the right. And as far as we know, Holo has fixed whatever caused this fuckup by now
Even in graduations it was mostly because they were two veterans who wanted something else from their lives after 4 or more years of being within it

Their main Rival's EN divison and where most of the fan vitriol is coming from is still in freefall, with 6 talents dropping from the corpo, one explosively so, the others have had nothing but grievances with the company itself where the most they can say about being happy within it was the people they met along the way. Said rival also had one of the heavier scandals in the industry with possible allegations of a music producer roofie-ing people, to the point where a talent was found to have a years old tweet where they detailed feeling sick after visting that studio, which was then deleted shortly after the scandal broke. Not to mention the years of hard work and millions of views that were sent to the aether after this due to the deletion of the music videos.
Even when Holo colossaly fucks up, their goodwill they've built up and decent PR that they've had has had more people back them up both in the professional and fan space. Riku had to grovel to investors after making the most absolutely retarded PR move with the black stream and still hasnt recovered from that in the court of public opinion.

Holo has not collosally fucked up since Rushia, none of the things in last year are "colossal". Taiwan was colossal, Selen was colossal. The only thing they need to do is stop stumbling for just a few months so the dooming meter resets itself in the majority of people and that's it.

FYI: The first clipper is her longtime clipper Kazuki ch. who has always done good work. Was wondering what he would do for Dooby, looks like he just started a new channel. I like that better than him converting his holo channel to a Dooby one. Good on him.
