Anyone that knows Ame better can tell me why she decided to pick that animal? is there a history behind it or no?
Short answer? No. Ame is a fan of cute, small, and a bit strange things, and likely chose a Jerboa because it is cute and small and a bit off-kilter, much like she is.

Long answer...? Well, this is getting into speculation a bit, and admittedly it's probably a bit too out there. Even I don't take the theory that seriously, but it is something still interesting to note.
In 2021, we saw possibly the most famous fictional rendition of a kangaroo mouse/jerboa hit the silver screen: The Muad'dib, AKA the desert mouse in DUNC DUNE. In DUNE, Muad'dib was the name Paul Atreides chose for himself when he integrated himself with the Fremen (desert planet natives) population to become their eventual Messiah. So... yeah. I'm not sure if it means anything, but that's the first thing that popped into my head for a potential deeper meaning to her decision. But she probably more likely chose it just because it is small and cute.

Missing a life changing prize pool to defend his gay rights.
Nothing much else to say to your point, but the "Life Changing Prize Money" thing was a cynical marketing buzzword that was peddled on behalf of the Saudi government. They and their partnered teams (who didn't disclose they were paid to promote the EWC) kept parading around the 80 something million figure, even though the individual prize pools per game were much more in line with typical prize pools and would not make much of an impact on most pro player's balance sheets.

Honestly the Saudi track record with cutting up people who disagree with them is not even my biggest issue with the EWC, it's a shitshow from top to bottom in my eyes.

His total earnings since he started competing in 2019 is 32k. The winning team made 600k. Minus orgs cuts taxes and everything he still would have made more than 3 times what he did in his career. If that isnt life changing idk what is. He's also the same guy that made a callout post for apex giving him 300$ instead of like 150$ and asked him to give back the money they payed on surplus. He couldnt pay back because he already used it to pay bills. Trust me he would've needed it.

It is incredibly ironic to me that Pippa has chosen to avoid streaming it entirely to avoid having too many political chatters, then her coworkers decided to summon them anyway.

The winning team made 600k.
So no more than a regular championship then, which doesn't see the need to cynically advertise it's prize pool as live changing. But that's not even relevant since the guy who you said qualified and didn't go because of Saudi got 15th in the NA qualifier. He almost made it though, if only his team managed to finish 13 whole places higher.

How can a Bri'ish loli be this fucking based? :pogrys2022:

But really, she's just saying something we've all thought at least once, Twitchcon might as well be the AVN Expo with less STD testing.

I swear officer it isn't as bad as it sounds.
Spending the first two decades of his life living in a rat tunnel contaminated with Agent Orange is bound to have some side effects.
Well if you actually looked at the list they are 99% wholesome manga as long as you don't look at the context using the lens of 2024/woke media

Hana to Akuma - Ranked #336 on mal, a vampire adopt a little girl, she grew up and became his lover.

Fruits Basket - Popularity #421 on mal, 80% wholesome manga, feature some casual stabbing, emotional manipulation, physical abuse, sexual affairs, etc. The most controversial part ended up being the mother of the protagonist dated her teacher while she was in high school, whom she eventually marry.

Unbalance x unbalance - Popularity #620 on mal, surprisingly very wholesome & normal manga from the author of Freezing, but because the guy got heavy case of brainworm (which explains freezing), he couldn't live with himself after writing such a wholesome story. He eventually released a side story where the female lead got raped by her blood-related brother as a canon prequel to the story. Oh and yeah the story happened between a high school kid and his female teacher, which counts as grooming in modern standards. (Despite noone looking at "We never learn" & "Kiss x Sis" in the same lense, Reddit readily tried to cancel fruit basket however when the role is reversed in gender)

Kou 2 time leap - Popularity #1162 wholesome story between female teacher and student. Tbh the weakest one in this entry, I just included it because I read it yesterday. But the rest are all S-tier.

Karekano - Ranked #502 on mal, one of the gateway romcom anime for the west, extremely popular, started out as wholesome love story, dwelve deeper into the psychology of the male lead, who was physically abused and abandoned when he was a child, which ended up with him pulling a gun on his mother and raped the female lead. Also author paired the same age love rival with the daughter of the 2 protagonists, this was very common back in the days some reason.

These are universally popular/loved works. They just aren't afraid to sprinkle in some more "controversial" topic to develope the story/characters. But honestly back in their days of publication, none of them was considered controversial. It's the wokeness of today lense that makes them problematic.

Yeah, and Nabokov's classic novel about a guy kidnapping and sexually abusing a 12 yr old has received critical acclaim but you shouldn't go around saying a lot of your favorite works are all like that, it gives the impression that you're really into the work specifically because of that content.
well yeah like i said, I do like student x teacher trope. And most of these wouldnt be half as good as they were if they got rid of those part.
