Most people severely over-estimate how interested in them most other people are.
Unless you're a hot woman or in the process of doing some obnoxiously-loud shit, you're more or less invisible on the streets of a big town. Even if someone notices you, they're not gonna remember you 15 minutes after that. Most "but what'll people think of me" thoughts are either brainworms or vanity.

Tbf you haven't met a lot of vietnamese women then
They will let you know if you are ugly/fat/black, the ones from the homeland will shout it across the streets.
The exported aunties are more found in nail salons rather than the street.
They might not remember you after 15 minutes, but they will judge your appearances and they WILL let you know about it.
Cant confirm if most SEA aunties are also like this.
