It was supposed to be a movie night at Cover where they all watched documentary about Australia, but Haachama probably mistook "Fury Road" as actual documentary series and played it to the staff.

It ends Jan 1st, so I'm just waiting for that. It became clear a while ago that Michi was going to win anyways, she was getting too far ahead.
As far as I know the Prize for winning is not known yet, so it will be interesting to see what she'll get.

Pretty sure at this point most talents failed their audition and auditioned 3 or 4 times.

Saw something very similar with a 100ccv indie who's audition tape Michi complimented recently. But she at least lead with the fact that she is most likely going to stay indie.

As an aside, I have to agree with Michi here. I don't know what corpos look for in an audition tape, but this one seems like it would hit the mark.

It is a well produced video. Only wish it showcased a bit more of what she does or how her streams are.

How odd. I don't watch Ren, but I don't think he speaks Japanese. Both premiere at the same time tomorrow.

Oh that one I do get. Also I did stumble of a clip where Ren took the time looking at JP talents (him learning about some of them) so I can hazard a guess that's why some of them heard about him too.


But Lui is the one that raises my eyebrow. Maybe some of them NijiJP talent mentioned it to her? Or maybe its like you said, him making connections/networking off-screen and this was the result? Eh, either way it's pretty interesting thing that happened, and at the very least, it's Ren and not one of them 'problematic' EN ones.

It is possible that his PL has been talked about behind the scenes. Pretty sure he had 1M subs on Youtube and had a fairly popular account and music career at some point. His channel was dying slowly though by the time he entered Niji which seems to be the reason why he moved into Vtubing. A second/fresh start to his music career.

Also the dude seems extremely chill and not the type to start shit with others. Atleast that has always been my impression of him. Even when the Selen shit went down he seemed very neutral and more focused on trying to extinguish fires rather than create them (im aware of him snapping at someone implying that management was Tweeting using his account).

A bit of a surprise to see him collab with Holo JP but I'm somewhat interested to see what they do.

And almost two weeks ago, she made a nice membership post on YT. I won't post the whole thing since it's a membership thing, but I'll share this paragraph.

I used to worry a bit about Jelly, especially when she seemed to be overworking herself doing extra stuff for Phase on top of her regular Jelly stuff and her Moon Jelly work on top of whatever else she does in her life. She definitely does seem to overwork herself at times, but seeing her say things like this at least shows she's happy doing what she does. Been nice to see. I hope she continues to be happy with everything she does and she has plenty more moments we can affectionately tease her over.

I used to worry a bit about Jelly, especially when she seemed to be overworking herself doing extra stuff for Phase on top of her regular Jelly stuff and her Moon Jelly work on top of whatever else she does in her life. She definitely does seem to overwork herself at times, but seeing her say things like this at least shows she's happy doing what she does. Been nice to see. I hope she continues to be happy with everything she does and she has plenty more moments we can affectionately tease her over.

Jelly was/is definitely one of the more concerning Phase talents when it comes to menhera stuff, i think even Lumi pointed that out somewhere in the beginning of the summer, that she's sometimes concerned about Jelly.
That said, it seems like this year has been a neat confidence boost for her(damn well should be, she's breaking into 4view on an extremely-regular basis even in her cursed timeslot), so i hope things really are looking up.
