Not a dramatuber btwThen I saw Proctor is going to talk in a few hours about it on stream and going by the title its looking to be nothing but a hit piece. “Worst of the year”, when both Niji EN and Wactor are still at large?

How true were the battle royale allegations and policies?hey, long time no see
Seven months ago I decided to get front seats to the trainwreck that Nexas debuts were promised to be. I wanted a scoop on what was looking to be the blackest of the vtubing industry, all the signs were there.
Instead I found a bunch genuine people trying to find a community and friendship. They managed to recruit real talented people, diamonds in the rough that you rarely see in more standard corpos.
I know that sounds really gay and suspiciously optimistic but I don’t care. I found several oshis. I got whitepilled after all the shit at the start of the year left me a doomer. I even renounced vtubing drama, I stopped caring what the newest yab was when there’s these people making kino content to an incredibly small audience and I’m one of them.
Of course not everything was perfect and I took notes when things went wrong, I kept receipts of everything. Want to know the heinous crimes that Nexas commited in all these months?
- They debuted 4 waves with too many people too close to each other.
That’s it. There was no scam, no overworking, no stealing funds, no gross misstreatment. One guy was a weirdo, they put him on extended hiatus. A few people seemed to have disagreements and left, there were no laundry lists of their crimes. And I guess they didn’t advise that one dude who joined with his real IRL name that this was a dumb idea.
That’s all big bad Nexas did wrong. Small issues like these happen even in the best companies. There were other issues but it’s all linked to the Anilive app and even indies who joined experienced those problems, leading to short streamer retention. I could make a way longer list of what Anilive is doing wrong (yes, they’re separate companies and the app hasn’t announced closure) but I’m not here to share an exposé.
I’m here because I was curious how people were reporting on the news and saw so many lies and nonsense. It’s become a telephone game, because everyone conflates Anilive with Nexas, then they hear “Anilive used AI” and suddenly Nexas is somehow worse than NFTs. Even impartial “vtuber news” have reported shit wrong and it’s frustrating. Then I saw Proctor is going to talk in a few hours about it on stream and going by the title its looking to be nothing but a hit piece. “Worst of the year”, when both Niji EN and Wactor are still at large?
After the annouced closure almost every member has good things to say and sadness it couldn’t last longer. They’re getting the Live2D models and IP for free so they can continue as indies. Does that sound like worst of the year to you? Just to put things into perspective, Wactor let rumors about their favorite chuubas go wild, then fired the girl, left her indebted and with emotional damage, and after all that they rebranded to escape bad PR and lawsuits, THEN RECYCLED HER MODEL AND NAME. All of that went down and I was so close to giving up on vtubers as a whole, but indies and Nexas kept me hopeful.
@The Proctor , if you make the stream today just with the stuff in the thread you’ll only be spreading misinfo and drawing more negative attention to the guys that are trying to rebrand as indies. This whole enterprise is just an over ambitious asian guy’s dream chuuba agency. They don’t need drama eyes on them now
Doesn't even reach top 4 because that one disgusting fetish group I expunged from even knowing the name ofI doubt Nexas even makes it to the top-3 of "worst of the year" since Vrev also exists...existed.
Is this real? Even Kaela?
UPDATE with bilibili link:
Each talent has recorded a short video (for sale?) in mandarin:
Like Alien vs Predator: "Whoever Wins, We Lose."Also Proctor vs Nousagi in a straightness competition.
Kobo,Ollie and Iofi already streamed on B2 already and there is no doxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxing of them anywhereDon't they have to dox themselves to China to stream on Billi? Is Cover retarded?

What would her coffee flavor taste like then?
E- Note not a coffee drinker but just as a gut feeling I don't think mint and coffee would go together.
It was just that, allegations. One guy said it looked like one and CEO Harry told him and others to shut up, everyone else latched to the BR idea because it'd have been funnier than what we got. These days the tributes and everyone just jokes about it.How true were the battle royale allegations
completely true. Harry is young and this is his first rodeo with anime people. He really wanted his agency to resemble My Hero Academia where the top teams with the most famous/strongest characters are the face of the academy.website that was really ignorant of the scene
Also true, they just said the quiet part out loud. Every corpo has their mascot chuuba that they give preferential treatment to because they make them the most money, they just thought it important to advertise this implicit part as a selling point for no good reasona scathingly honest propositon where the best talent would be the one sucking up all the opportunities.
Keyword "mismanaged" here. They had a good staff just not enough for 60+ people and it was all very experimental, Harry and co. just were overly optimisticmismanaged expectations
This part is one of the most important ones and the one everyone gets wrong. Nexas was founded by a young inexperienced guy that needed more investors than he got, and here's where Shunsuke Oyu "Captain" from Prism fame enters the picture.desire to use a pointless alternative platform
Still seems overly click baity to me. I know he watches the sheep, think how many idiots she'll get in chat asking "are you the one from the BATTLE ROYALE? Why did you join a BLACK company? Why did you SUPPORT AI?!" (everyone in Nexas hated when the Anilive-sponsored vtubers with AI looking models started arriving and some made statements, it's all on Twitter)Is worst of the year hyperbole? Maybe, year isnt over and Niji just announced an investigation, also, WACTOR is commonly ignored by us EOPs because of the language barrier so i think its less of people thinking NEXAS was worse than either companies and more it just being a very visible failure.
Isn't this the standard, no matter indie or corpo the hobby is full of abandoned channels and people who quit for many reasons. It still surprises me how small the percent of graduates is overalla place that you simply can not see growth
This happened to a lot of IRIAM & Anilive vtubers in Japan.
However, there are still some who actually managed to make it out successfully onto youtube/other venue, but you can count them by fingers.
barely any of that, even when there were leaks chuubas seemed to either get along or mind their own business.internal fights
cliques and bullying/sabotaging,
First time in all these months seeing that name in relation to Nexas or in general5th concern is Evanit0 sticking himself into the project and everyone here hate the Yamanba.
there were more chuubas doing lectures but those were private so we don't have the amount and names. Other names are Punkalopi, Rima, this Elara Elf girl and this guy. Most of the learning seemed to have been from staff to chuuba. They promised lectures with people like Filian. They got entirely 1 lecture and still ran out of money after 6 months.
- Unironically closing its door after 6 months is the best thing that ever happened to NEXAS/wisest thing Harry chose to do. I agree that now the talents get free live2D after 6 months, it's actually a plus for them. Can't comment on the quality of NEXAS's live2D since I'm not watching them.hey, long time no see

They promised lectures with people like Filian. They got entirely 1 lecture and still ran out of money after 6 months. A lot of things were said on that website that never went into effect. Pretty much the CEO guy larped too hard and wrote one of the worst PR hit piece ever. If that website page never existed. People would have had much better impression of NEXAS.How true were the battle royale allegations and policies?
One of the biggest reasons why people were soured on Nexas before they even debuted their hordes of talents was that horrible website that was really ignorant of the scene as a whole and pitched a scathingly honest propositon where the best talent would be the one sucking up all the opportunities.
That was probably one of the most mental things to pitch out of the gate, especially in the EN scene thats used to a less cutthroat approach unlike how management and conformist cucked most Japs are. It, to an outside ignorant viewer, seems like their own mismanaged expectations and desire to use a pointless alternative platform would be merit enough to label them as a shit corpo.

Only the MCN or a related entity are displayed on the channel. The leading hypothesis is that the rules were rolled back.Don't they have to dox themselves to China to stream on Billi?
Like every other VCR server, friends and friends of friends. How are people chosen for GTA VCR?
Total Selen Attempt 2 happened this fucking year, and somehow Nexas is the worst company of the year lmao.Doesn't even reach top 4 because that one disgusting fetish group I expunged from even knowing the name of
Also Proctor vs Nousagi in a straightness competition.
Like every other VCR server, friends and friends of friends.
One of the smallest streamer in there I know of was Tooko, a low 3-view indie who only streamed league of legends
She probs became friends with the VCR crowd after participating in streamer-only league tournaments. E.g. This one where she's on the same team as Shaka and mittiii, 2 VCR veterans. She is one of the big success story through GTA VCR, she's now a 4view during GTA RP (and high 3-view in off time) and got invited to a corpo (keeping her identity) as their biggest star IIRC.
They probs have 2-view indies in there too but i don't really care to remember.
Famous people/streamer are probs autoqualified if asked
Technically no, that was very late last year:Total Selen Attempt 2 happened this fucking year, and somehow Nexas is the worst company of the year lmao.
My bad, Total Selen Obliteration happened in February, but the attempt was earlier, I forgor.Technically no, that was very late last year:
