Someone's been doing a bit of noticing on the /r/virtualyoutubers subreddit. Both Michi and Melody's backgrounds apparently feature the same 4 unknown faces.

And if you tune in to Henya's stream right now, there they are, kind of sloppily inserted into her usual background.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say these 4 are the new VShojo recruits. As far as I know, Nazuna was teased in a similar way.
Anybody have an idea who these 4 could be? VShojo allows you to carry your persona with you, so these might be known figures.

Edit: Just some more info, they were not in Henya's background in her last stream 3 Days ago and when asked who they were she simply said something along the lines of: "Sorry, I can't look back, I'm 2D"

VShojo has now had 2 highly produced group covers in as many weeks, has an ongoing long term event promoting collabs with the stamp rally and now these 4 mystery characters start appearing in their streams. They're definitely working up to something. The stamp rally ends on new year but with the new recruits already appearing in the backgrounds I think they'll still arrive this year.

Here is one of the four: Bilingual (JP/EN) girl with 16k on twitter, 28k on YouTube and 12k on Twitch. Fits one of the dolls perfectly.

I know this is a joke but… unironically. It'd be interesting to see how the awards show would handle it if it won - I'm guessing they'd just ignore it and pick whatever got the second most votes but it'd be amazing if it won. They could send the award to Riku to keep right next to the fucking play buttons.

If all the active posters here voted for it, it'd move the needle at least a little bit, right? We'd just need a plurality, not a majority.

It's very unlikely to win but maybe it could be pushed to the nominee spot.

There's something to be said for effort, but at the end of the day results are what matter. If you have to be carried by the other members then it's fair to say you're dead weight.

On the flip side, didn't their gen fail them? Early PC got a massive boost from collabs, specifically Tenma/Pippa and Tenma/Uruka. I imagine you have to be pretty chill to go along with an EN company for years being more or less ignored.

The JP girls still got merch support, management assistance, money for covers, art and so forth. They didn't hit off in popularity, but it wasn't a terrible deal.
