I can only speculate it's because the Discord picks up more tourists and newfags who were never part of the Kiwi Farms thread, and as such their socialisation into vtuber culture has been from /vt/ or some other shithole.

I don't have any real investment in the Discord, I don't really care for public livechats in general since like 95% of the ones I've been in in the past have just been mundane small talk between near-strangers, so my opinions on it don't really matter in any substantial capacity; but I hope people in there are saving everything this Terumi chick says. I can see her causing some kind of major incident sooner rather than later - and the chatlogs will probably be good supplemental context when it happens.
