I have my limits on trying some things that some cultures consider "food" such as patties made of bugs, isopods, or monkey brains, but most of these are just standard dishes. The only two things I put all the way in the red are Sloppy Joes because I'm not a fan and the gold leaf ice cream because I don't eat random shit for the purpose of being trendy or upper class, and that's all I see this as. The things here I haven't had, I'd more than likely be willing to try. I put the steak tartare one tick in the red because I'd be willing to try it if it was given to me, but I can't imagine any way raw beef would be better than cooked beef.
At the end of the day, put your fanciest Italian pasta in front of me, and I'll probably enjoy it. Put a bowl of Kraft Mac and Cheese from a box in front of me, and I'll enjoy it too. Put a good Dutch gouda or Dutch Havarti in front of me, and I'll enjoy it. Slap a slice of American cheese on some bread and make a grilled cheese sandwich, and I'll enjoy it too. My palate (mostly) isn't dictated by some form of cultural snobbery. I like food that tastes good.
And also since it's related: pineapple pizza is good.
