If the active userbase doubles but with the exact same audience (Holo & Phase fans) the VShojo/Niji thread will still remain dead. This changes nothing. Double is too low-balling a number, maybe 200 times the current userbase then you can sustain those threads

So all we need to do is have the staff advertise the forum on reddit so we get an influx of Vshojo fans.

This forum DID NOT GET POPULAR. The split threads has like five readers on average. Killing the general thread entirely will not change this. This forum is not popular enough to FACILITATE megathreads.
It's so bad @The Proctor himself already went back to the general thread to shill his indies.

The 3rd most active thread, "Small indie General", if I open it right now I can see shit from 4 days ago with 0 interaction.

And last but not least, people don't enjoy having their audience halved. Shuba already stopped posting because of your power tripping. We lost actual people making actual content over the last month since this thread splitting has been implemented. I saw 2 new rrat posters (who only lives in the general thread) and 10 constructive writers/effort posters leaving. Congratulations.

I'm sorry you interpreted that move in that fashion. I watch over a dozen indies on average and I don't like to clog threads with mentions of them, so I vary the threads I post about them in every so often. If you go to the small indie thread you'll see many examples of me posting them there as well. Posts in the general thread should not be seen as any sort of endorsement or preference.

MiniTru (currently known as "OFCOM") asserts that they have jurisdiction over any website used by a "significant" number of subjects of the Crown, with the term "significant" defined entirely at their discretion. They could in principle try and arrest Proctor if he went to a con in the UK for failing to comply.
