The hololive and phase thread are active yes, but we also lost alot of regular posters after the split, names that I recognize never returned, people I liked.

I'm curious who these people are. I have not really noticed this and I read all of the Hololive and General threads. Helmet is really the only person that I can think of that left over the thread split.

But if they are just numbers and not people to you then sure, there is nothing wrong with them being split. Actually tell me since you have all the statistic, how many new user has we gotten that actually posted since the split thread, because that is all so important to the "future of the site", we have had long enough of a time now no?

I'm gonna be real with you dude, I made the Vshojo thread because I saw like, 3 posts going "where vshojo thread??". in the general thread like a week after the threadsplitting. I wanted to see if Proctor was serious that people could makes threads. Hence why the OP is completely empty. If you have a better OP I'll edit it in.

I still dislike the split and will continue to use general as god intended until I get jannied and eventually leave. Until then we can still have fun.
I reinforce the idea that we don't need a split inside a niche community, you're just making nuclear communities alienating themselves even further when everyone share the same interest (vtubers) with different seasonings (some like smaller ones some like bigger ones some like singers some like actors some like whores).

I feel less infomed about the overall ongoings of the whole industry and posting in the split thread is less fun because what point is there to shill my oshi to other people who already know her? Preaching to the choir here.

In general I had at least random phase fags as well hearting my posts about Kiara and that was wholesome
I don't need to sell Kiara to people who are already Hololive fans, so it just reduces my amount of gushposts (something people apparently miss from the good old days) but the split thread is not the way to bring them back.

Also this whole site feels a lot more fragmented now, which sucks as well. I used to look at most other threads (except the pippa thread) but now, with so many more theads I am supposed to keep up with, I can't bother.

if you want one example @Shuba was posting daily, one of the better contributor since he actually speaks JP, until one of you yamamba moved his post from the general thread to the holo thread, and then he posted 1-2 more time and just stopped.

I don't even know what you are talking about /vt/ catalogues, the threadsplit make this site looks more like /vt/ than before the threadsplit to me. /vt/ has hololive general, phase connect general, large indie general, small indie general, nijien general, vshojo general. TVA now has hololive general, phase connect general, large indie general, small indie general, nijisanji general (lolw), and vshojo general (lolw). Especially seeing how most of the threads are dead and aren't needed. It seems like Proctor chose to copy the way /vt/ split their threads/catalogue rather than the needs of the forum. I'm telling you not to make this place /vt/lite.

Btw do mods have more info about the dictator shit, do you have any background information, did getting evicted makes proctor meaner.

don't you worry, proctor now implemented a new add-on so you gets bombarded with notification on every threads + @God's Strongest Dragoon's notif means you get 20 notif every 5 minutes. We will continue adding more add-ons to work around it instead of addressing the real issue until morale improved!!!
(I turned it off after 20 minutes)

Honestly id call the Holo thread a bit of a meh thing for a Forum, its pretty much evolved into clip posting with an occasional comment there, mostly because of the sheer fucking size of Holo, Phase has had some downs and lulls that let people talk more, and even then i feel like its mostly focusing on the downs of the corpo even though its from people who really like it

The other threads are just going to be forever dead besides small indies which is also too broad since its also small corpo land, a quick look at it also makes it seem like it was also clip and streamposting without interruption till a brief interlude to comment about christian indies

I personally enjoy the threadsplit as it leads to me reading about more stuff that I'm actually interested in and less stuff that I don't care about. Simple as.
