Same, but for a different reason I assumeno thanks
That one.
Don't keep up much with most of the threads on the Forum since the split but you make a good point.I love that people keep calling the Holo thread a hughbox when it's the exact same thing as every other corpo specific threadalso calling it a Hughbox when we have been pissing on the local pemaloe wild life when they were getting cucked by the clock

Most Phase fans are also Holo fans, to a greater or lesser extent.Holo thread is only bigger because of people reactposting about the graduations, I am fully convinced phase makes up like 80% of this forum.
What exactly do you want to be done about this? I'm pretty sure there have been only two warns in the Hololive thread for obvious threadshitting. One of those, in retrospect, I probably wouldn't action again (this one). Other than that, people are free to criticize the company, talents, each other, etc. Any thread centered on a specific topic will attract users that are biased towards the topic. For the holo thread I frequent, there is definitely an echo chamber effect (that people had showed concern over initially when the split first happened).
My rrats aren't being taken seriously and that makes me mad. What exactly do you want to be done about this? Short of merge all the threads back into one, I'm not exactly sure how this would be fixed. My personal opinion on threads being perceived as a hugbox is that it's basically a nonissue but many people have brought it up so it's worth examining.
Idk how you mistake differing opinions can only be full on driveby. What exactly do you want to be done about this? I somewhat agree... but what does this have anything to do with the Holo thread being a hugbox though?Idk how you mistake differing opinions can only be full on driveby.
People are allowed to, but people won't.
People are allowed to browse 10+ threads, but people won't and will just stick to 2.
>Short of merge all the threads back into one, I'm not exactly sure how this would be fixed
How about not introducing a problem (threadsplit) to something that wasn't an issue (having 1 thread)
>What exactly do you want to be done about this?
There is amodguy here who talked about splitting threads by INDIVIDUAL vtuber and I'm 100% sure he was the reason behind the threadsplit.
What I exactly want to be done is you listen to the community instead of one schizo
go back to the beginning of the thread split, people said it way better than me about how the segregation will affect the community.I somewhat agree... but what does this have anything to do with the Holo thread being a hugbox though?
Still hate it. I feel less up to date on happenings than before. So, it's been about 3-4 weeks after the split happened.
How are we feeling about the split, boys?
I'm sure everybody changed their opinion about it and everyone is now actually happy that Proctor decided to ignore any feedback from the community and even doubled down on his decision when the entire Forum told him his decision is shit.

I didn't mistake them and even pointed it out in my post.Idk how you mistake differing opinions can only be full on driveby.

What does this even mean? Do people need to be forced into threads to correct some sort of cosmic imbalance? Users prefer to participate in the threads that interest them isn't exactly a revolutionary idea. I have no interest in Phase Connect and don't read the thread outside of resolving reports. Should I feel obligated to participate in something that I don't care about?People are allowed to, but people won't.

The Hololive and Phase Connect threads are active and people use them. It isn't a problem. If you want to talk about all the lesser threads not justifying their existence through not having enough posts or whatever then that is a different discussion. I can see the argument for merging them all back into the main one and reopening the liveposting thread as it got more than enough usage on its own.>Short of merge all the threads back into one, I'm not exactly sure how this would be fixed

No mod has suggested this as far as I am aware.>What exactly do you want to be done about this?
There is a mod here who talked about splitting threads by INDIVIDUAL vtuber and I'm 100% sure he was the reason behind the threadsplit.
I mistook @Last Of The Mohicans as a (discord) mod because he barely had any presence here before randomly jumping into defending the threadsplit. I edited out that because I was wrong.I didn't mistake them and even pointed it out in my post.

Personally, I've been fine with splitting threads as far back as January 2023 and have posts here to show that. When the Pippa thread was split off was a good time to do this, but the future of the site was more uncertain then since it was so new. The KF thread heavily influenced the way this place was set up. Until recently, having one catch-all thread there was out of necessity and this place was modeled on that. That being said, I move posts and clear reports. I am not the site administrator. Proctor presented the idea of splitting the threads to me and I said that I personally really wouldn't need to be convinced as I had always supported something similar.
No mod has suggested this as far as I am aware.
Unrelated, but try to get all your thoughts out at least in some detail rather than posting the reply and editing it over and over again. The stuff you posted changed twice upon refreshing the page and I wouldn't be surprised if it has changed yet again. I wrote shit replying to stuff that you edited out of your post.
It means that I get to see and interact with people outside of my bubble. I don't really now. And yes you do need to force me to do it. I'm not going to open 10+ thread, even the Phase thread I never actually opened. What does this even mean? Do people need to be forced into threads to correct some sort of cosmic imbalance
So the fact that the Holo thread only has people who like Holo in it is a bad thing? What did you expect? For there to be people who don't give a single shit about the company there? What? That's like being mad because people who don't like coke aren't drinking it, no shit sherlock. The phase thread only has phase fans in it and I don't see anyone having shitfits over it.go back to the beginning of the thread split, people said it way better than me about how the segregation will affect the community.
But generally you have to be a holofan to go to the holothread. Anyone who aren't either get considered driveby or just don't care enough to go to the thread itself.
I used to feel pretty strongly that other sites for vtuber discussion don't give me what I get out of coming here, but as this place grows less useful for getting a wide cross-section of vtuber news, that becomes less true. For example, in the Farms thread someone posted about Nijisanji's latest dumb gimmick (vtubers who apparently have some professional expertise but no streaming experience), but I haven't heard anything about that here. Maybe someone mentioned it in the Nijisanji thread, but I never go there because I'm not interested in keeping up with a thread consisting of half a dozen people ritualposting Rosemi clips.Though that probably has more to do with understanding that any objections i raise don't really matter, so i either conform to what our Dear Leader has decided to be the new status quo or leave, and i don't wanna do the latter.
I think people immediately assume everyone on the Holo thread shit talks every other company and indies on the thread instead of keeping it on topic, every time someone uses a thread as an example of a "hugbox" or "tribalism" they instantly use the Holo thread as their sole example, they never say anything about the phase or Niji threads being either of those things, yet every thread has remained on topic with minor mod presence, just look at the helmet retard that fucked off, he called the Holo thread tribalistic when it didn't even have a whole day of existence. So the fact that the Holo thread only has people who like Holo in it is a bad thing? What did you expect? For there to be people who don't give a single shit about the company there? What? That's like being mad because people who don't like coke aren't drinking it, no shit sherlock. The phase thread only has phase fans in it and I don't see anyone having shitfits over it.
Also this "Only non fans get punished" narrative is bs. One of the people who got punished was Riverbear, and he's literally a Gura fan, meanwhile people like Jambalaya post there and nobody has harassed them out. Thomas said it well earlier in this thread, most of the "Holo fans" in this forum are also fans of other corpos, so it isn't like it's some VIP club where no outsiders are allowed.
You can hate the split as much as you want but stop trying to use Holo as some kind of example of the end times.
Yes and all other corpo/indie threads.should we just get rid off the holo thread
Shitting on people and companies you've never once watched is the cornerstone of TVA's culture.I don't know what a "hugbox" means when it comes to the holo thread specifically, according to the people that have complained we should be doing what? shitting on each other's oshis? we should be bringing up different companies unprompted?
