Germany has a pretty healthy manga publishing scene, probably the second best in Europe after France.
We have a lot of stuff that even the English publishers don't get or don't bother putting into print.
Also, it's a lot cheaper than any English offering. Regular shounen manga goes for 7-8€ and most small format books don't ever go above 9€, large format manga stay below 12€ and full colour manhwa usually cost around 16€. On the whole buying in German is around 20-40% cheaper than English manga, even on sale.

IMO only down side is some publisher 's (Panini) sometimes never reprint. Like i have the 42 Volumes of Berserk which i collect since it released here in the early 00's and you probably know they go for some buck on places like Ebay. They later on released, other version which is 2 volumes in one for the normal price but the single volumes nope.

That + getting at least two posts deleted that I saw. Essentially got chased off the site. He could very well have been perma-suspended or have his posts autodeleted and we'd have no way to know. Given how sneaky the initial react thing was, I don't trust that he hasn't been shadowbanned or something.

If your posts are getting deleted and you can't react to anything, you are functionally banned from the website even if your name isn't greyed out. I have no way of knowing whether or not more posts were deleted besides the ones I saw, and at this point I have to assume the worst.

Deleted by Proctor. In fairness, the ones I saw were migo-posts in direct response to Proctor, one of which was called out in this thread and another one in the General just before rrat went dark. I have screenshots of those if you guys want them, but I suspect that won't go over well if I post something Proctor deleted as a callout.

Also worth noting that I saw rrat log in one more time the day after the General post was deleted, and then he never logged in after that, so if a post was made and deleted at that time I would have no way of knowing. Not hard to just remove the post button if you're removing the react button in any case, but...
