I want to actually talk about this rather than just mindlessly join a circlejerk, since the "discordfag bad" point's been hammered into the ground already. @The Proctor, Alex is your friend and I respect that, I have no interest in prying into your lives outside of TVA. But his presence here throughout this entire incident has done nothing but hurt your reputation for no good reason, and if he genuinely had your best interests in mind he'd have read the room and taken a dignified step back upon realising this isn't his crowd, rather than doubling down and being condescending toward everyone.

Having someone from outside associated with a public figure antagonising said public figure's audience and/or peers has never worked out well for anyone. Ever. Especially when that person has little to no interest in the topic at hand to begin with. Nobody likes the YouTube reviewer's unfunny friend who complains about the "haters", nobody likes the lead guitarist's girlfriend who says he's spending too much time with the band, and nobody likes the nepo-hire moderator who power-trips over a community he knows nothing about. He's a liability, and that's something you two should probably work out between yourselves before that causes you more problems.

Personally, I'd like Proctor to have friends outside the forum and obviously said friend is going to start with a bad impression of us when all he knows is that our forum is the one causing Proctor so much stress. Keeping that friend around would have only made things worse all round, the mod team booting him when they did was a good decision for everyone involved.
