2025 Vtuber Convention Schedule

I'm making this thread in advance of any vtuber conventions that may take place during 2025. I have received reliable information that Vexpo will be taking place in 2025, and I am definitely attending again if circumstances permit. Apart from that, I find it quite hard to keep up with the vtuber convention scene overall. I can only really name Offkai and Twitchcon as events I'm consistently aware of happening, and I think it would benefit TVA if we could start keeping track of upcoming conventions that are either focused on vtubers or have a significant amount of floorspace dedicated to vtubers.

Therefore, I'm making this thread to help keep track of conventions that'll be happening in 2025. Please link any announcements here, as well as websites and any other important details. Sometime in early 2025, I intend to make a widget or other way to track these events on the front page for maximum exposure. It's quite remarkable to me how many people (including vtubers themselves) simply don't know these events exist, and I'm committed to giving them more exposure.

Holofes 6/HoloExpo is likely happening around march, the actual dates will be revealed soon. I'll update when they do.

This is a good thread for people to find more cons around the block, travelling is expensive but we're having more and more state-wide smaller cons/meetups in the US and in multiple countries in EU. I don't think people is interested but if something appears on LATAM I'll post here.

It's depressing that the only East Coast con with Vtubers is Anime NYC, its fine, but it's like only that, and then a dozen super small regional cons held in like a highschool gym

Anime Boston last year had HoloMeet, and from rumours I heard with people involved in planning, there’s a high likelihood they’ll have them again + another corpo unnamed (but most likely NOT niji)

AB 2025 is May 23rd-25th

Dokomi is happening in Düsseldorf on the 6th to 8th of June 2025.
They have had big VTubers every year since Kiara came in 2021 (although I feel like it went down a bit again after 2023). 2024 had Shoto and Dokibird among others on a dedicated VTuber stage. Brave also had an industry presence:

The big thing for VTubers in the US I feel like has become Anime Impulse, since they can reach a much wider audience (still mostly west coast though) with their roadshow type model. They have four events announced in 2025:
- Los Angeles February 15-16
- Bay Area July 26-27
- Orange County August 30-31
- Dallas November 15-16
They have corpos present at almost all of them, with either Niji, Holo or both attending in addition to smaller corpos and indies.

Anime Expo is the big one of course and they have many VTubers present with big booths for corpos including VShojo, which mostly sits out the other anime cons and goes all out for AX. The next main AX is happening July 3rd to 6th in LA and they have an "Anime Expo Chibi" in Ontario (California, not Canada) this November which I think is new and could become a yearly thing, but I don't see any VTubers announced for this years so it might be irrelevant.

Japan Expo 2025 is taking place from July 3rd to July 6th in Paris.

They had a Hololive booth this year which was pretty successful and so will probably have one next year. Maybe more VTubers will show up.

Our local corpo that is totally not TVA corp, totally not managed by us in secret was shilling Holiday Matsuri but the only Vtuber that is been announced is the frog of PRISM

FanimeCon is probably the biggest anime con in Northern California. It's May 23-26 in San Jose, California. It's not really vtuber focused but I've seen a few panels and such regarding them at least.
