Sadly, yeah. Problem is, those political fanatics own everything worth a damn in the industry so between choosing one or the other, as a company employing dozens if not hundreds of people, you're pretty much required to side with the ones that can bankrupt you in an instant.
It doesn't help that their ideology is supported and funded by governments all over North America and Europe, they're like parasites.

Honestly speaking Phase Connect is in a position where they can do whatever the fuck they want. They gonna get cancelled from Offkai? I can guarantee that if they wanted they could organize and run their own convention and just invite other agencies. I only think they haven't done it because they don't have the extra staff on hand to strictly focus on managing and running that. Running an event isn't hard but it does take a bunch of people and a bunch of planning. They can easily make the money back on ticket sales and merch and all that other shit.
They can probably call on VShojo to split the costs.
I feel like they don't have to, its just easier to be that way. No need to cater to people that will drop you and smear your name if you say 1 bad thing.

Jokes aside I'm really disgusted by her comments around pregnant women and mockery of them. Miscarriages are tragic and both parents deserve support in that time so honestly giving parents the support of a councilor would be great but she'd probably seethe at that.

I'm disappointed in Pippa toning it down, since hogwarts. Though I don't blame her: getting trashed by both sides of the political spectrum, has made her and phase a bit weary of the culture war stuff. Like I said before, at the end of the day she's a entertainer.
I think it's part of her being a envious and coping femcel. Plus, it could be that she's aware of the stats that most if not all women who have kids, are also part of the political opposition (i.e right wing) and that might bother her, cause it reminds her that she's a genetic dead end.
So that's why there are nearly no rear or even side shots of her in that movie.
