I don't recall a reason being given, I just remember Shiina saying that no one at the company was allowed to play it anymore. It was one of the huge DEI games that flopped hard but barely anyone really played it to even make fun of it. So the Phase girls streaming and mocking it probably attracted culture war fanatics from both sides as they were doing great numbers playing it. Sakana likely had no interest in another Hogwarts situation so he shut it down.

One stream getting spicy isn't an issue. It's when they play a game that has a known reputation as a political battleground and the game itself can be multiple streams, attracting more culture vultures for later playthroughs of the game.

I think if she were to touch grass with her Kaleido genmates a bit more then she may realize screeching about politics is not something you need to do every single day. The JPs never really bring up politics on stream and although I'm not 100% sure on this, I doubt they do so in private either (excluding maybe complaints about taxes but honestly who loves them?). I also trust the other JPs to not just blindly swallow all her retarded political takes. I understand the apprehension though.
