Somewhat large YouTuber Think Before You Sleep did a video on the recent problems at Twitch. TBYS is kind of a culture war fence-sitter, doing videos against modern feminism and DEI stuff but also against inceldom and the Andrew Tate types - I guess he's vaguely on the right as a whole. He starts the video by covering the recent brief ban of MegalodonVT and argues that she probably courted a ban to milk for attention, just as the fleshwomen do - which I don't particularly disagree with. He briefly talks about vtubing as a whole. He seems to have the "all anime is degenerate" take but seems to think that the sexualization of minor girls in anime started with the isekai boom so he's probably a tourist. Also, he doesn't mention the recent discoveries of Dan Clancy's goon accounts, which seems like a big omission when discussing the softcore (and sometimes hardcore) porn on Twitch issue, but I'll allow that maybe that's recent enough that it couldn't make it into the video. Not a terrible video but not very deep and doesn't say much that we don't already know.

This old vod showed in the algorithm so I went through it a little for nostalgia. Within the first few minutes, Rushia tried to argue that her and Towa are the same because they're both menhera. Towa said nah, they're completely different because Rushia is the dangerous kind of menhera. 3 months after this was when her termination happened.

Do they still push Talent Freedom as a slogan, actually? I can't remember the last time I saw it outside of a joke. It's so connected to their brand that even if its not what they represent, people still think of it when they think VShojo, like "Gotta Catch em all" or Five Dollar Foot Long" even though those things aren't pushed or advertised what they're connected to either. A little unfortunate, really.

Enna, hands down. The two auditioned for Niji together, I imagine they'll leave together if they do go.

The reason she said that was because she didn't want to leave her friend Kohaku (Koharu? Something like that), a fellow Filipino vtuber who was interested in joining Holo, out on her own. Like I said, loyal to a fault.

It's a meme at this point, but it really is the only thing vshojo has going for it and the only thing their shills always repeat ad-nauseam so it's a perfect way to describe their brand philosophy and content.
