I hopped a quick flight to Narita to take this screenshot of the Steam page, which has an English translation even if the app itself doesn't support it and it's not available outside JP:

From what I can tell from this page, you're limited to streaming or hosting videos on YouTube, NicoNico, whatever OPENREC.tv is, and "Twtich." Under the basic plan (3500 yen a month, about 23 freedom dollars (damn, the yen is still so cheap?)), you cannot have your stream or video be monetized, whereas the pro plan (10,000 yen a month, $65) releases that restriction. That strikes me as a massive price gap and there's lots of room for confusion - for example, if you have memberships open on your YT channel, can you still use the basic plan for a stream if you turn off superchats for that particular stream and it's not a members-only stream? Some of the negative comments on the Steam page seem to be along these lines as well - too expensive, too confusing. To be fair to Joysound I'm sure trying to secure all the rights from JP rightsholders to put out a product like this was expensive and confusing for them too.

She doesn't own her channel, I don't think any holo vtuber own their own channel under their holo name since they are contractors/employee (hence on termination/graduation wipe/membership ending happen)

Openrec is a gaming streaming website like youtube and it has a quite large of vtuber using it, though not sure if it was able to reach its audience because it's a hassle to use
