Early Jerry due to family visit(no schedule for the week either)
Wish she could do these early streams as the norm, actually bearable hours and doesn't cut into anyone's time
Early Jerry due to family visit(no schedule for the week either)
This does not mean Proctor streamedFäggotry.
Hell yeah bros, Sayu got a TV that's only a few months older than she is.
From the VOD comment, looks like "Departures" was removed, and "Platinum Disco" was audio-distorted.It looks like she sang past the 12 hour YouTube vod limit and it cut off after her 94th song. Noticed the vod was temporarily blocked next day and I assumed she might have muted or cut off some songs perhaps to resolve any copyright issues. Did you happen to catch the tail end of her stream?
@The Proctor I want to echo this as earnest feedback since it's become a small but noticeable concern I've had recently. Vagueposting is how rrats take off, because when people are given an incomplete story it is human nature to fill in the blanks ourselves, with varying levels of accuracy. This happens on /vt/ when people wink-and-nudge about certain events since laying out the full story would require posting roommate information and earn them a ban, and I could see it happening here when you allude to major events happening but don't show your working. He can't because he's likely talking to some talent or ex-manager or something and that person vented and cried to him about all of the shitty things the CEO of their corpo did but told him to not tell anyone, because then some legal shit or drama shit would go down. Proctor can't tell us without that person knowing, and the second Proctor becomes a snitch then the entire EN small corpo and indie scene will be hostile to him because they all know each other, and then he can no longer slip into people's DMs to fish for drama.
The thing is, he vagueposts and forms his opinions around this drama he can't drop, so he ends up arguing against people who do not possess all of the same info as him and that obviously causes arguments. Imagine playing TTRPG with a dude who knows the whole layout of the dungeon and all of the story beats, it would be pretty annoying to try to discuss things with a dude who knows more than you but won't tell you. The smart thing would be to not say anything and stop vagueposting, but that is not gonna happen.
There is no way you'd get a new corpo off the ground nowadays on $50k. The industry's much bigger now and if you want to stand out, you're gonna have to do something special to make an impression.I thought Fishman's original investment was $50k. Not saying he didn't make further infusions, but that was also a six-member gen across multiple markets. That's a lot different from "hundreds of thousands to millions," and PC is more-or-less the only example of a small corpo* moving up to the majors, even if there's still a vast gulf between them and the big two.
*not counting Sony founding/acquisitions
It also makes you look like a child or a teenage girl who is friends with the popular kids and knows (or pretends to know) all of the juicy gossip and the simple fact of knowing more than others gives you some kind of smug satisfaction and/or sense of superiority (even if that isn't the intent it certainly comes off like that). Nobody likes people who vaguepost and that is the reason a handful newfags have gotten laughed out of the forum. Either drop what you know or just don't say anything.Trying to meet in the middle by alluding to privileged information most people don't have ends up causing problems for everyone involved.
There are 2 kinds of microcorpos:Oh, we're just rratting, rather than discussing this seriously.
Most microcorpos aren't serious, just like most micro businesses in the entertainment. They're made by people that want to groom egirls or someone who's lucked into some money that thought that managing a vtuber company would be a lark. Most microcorpos don't have a business plan, the CEO doesn't understand the vtubing market, and doesn't have any of the necessary skills to run a business, let alone one with as many pitfalls as vtubing does.
I would actually believe that nexas CEO can score meetings/drinking with Yagoo through Anilive CEO.Nexas has had so little overlap or even interaction with anyone that i doubt there are any deeper connections than Harry being known in the scene as a producer/investor and some poking in to see if Anilive would've been a viable option (it wasnt)
If the Nexas retards from the get go interacted with current/ex holos or Nijis, smaller corpos like Phase, etc then i could see them talking deeper than just knowing who is who and them starting up their own little piece of vtubing, but Nexas has been entirely its own thing that has been floundering at best
I'd believe awoogers if he told me how to plant the good kush ngl Dude must roll himself a mighty blunt each morning if he carries around so much self hatred. There are 2 kinds of microcorpos:
- 30 years old weeb thinking he can start a vtuber company because he watched a few vtubers. Most of these have 0 business experience since they ... watches vtubers in the first place. Most envtubing company falls into this category. With AkioAir being a shining example
- Tech companies who uses vtuber as tools for their promotion, this is where MIRIAM, Anilive, etc. comes in. These are usually JP corpos. They are actually very tight-knitted, the CEOs knows each other maybe even before vtubing was a thing and has definitely met behind the scene. And Cover Corp was one of them.
I would actually believe that nexas CEO can score meetings/drinking meet with Yagoo through Anilive CEO.
But just because they know eachother/ can talk to each other doesn't mean jackshit when it comes to business decisions.
I bet anilive/miriam CEOs begged multiple times for holo talents to stream on their stupid app and Yagoo politely told them to fuck off everytime
It's like saying @Awoogers has business influences on @The Proctor's farm in britland because they talk to each other on TVA and both are farmers.

No shit, sherlock. It is chicken and egg indeed, but she's not yet at the stage where this analogy could be relevant. For now she's fumbling through establishing workflow (Grimmi does too, btw), so it's expected to be somewhat of a money sink for a few months. We'll see where it's going next year. To be fair, she might also start doing even more by herself so "Dokicorp" will stay an exagerration, but this is not a feeling i have for her. Grimmi with her sauce is like "i gonna do this small fun thing! fine, i'll do it myself...", Doki is much more ambitious and willing to delegate as much as possible.
Someone please unban Hexa, we need her to come back so Proctor will start acting like a man again.I have confidence that you're intelligent enough to realize what I'm talking about without needing to be spoonfed, but since you managed to take my comments in exactly the wrong way, I'll take the point Hff201 made and just stop talking.
It is literal Nolan behavior.
