Decided to check out Kiri Kilovolt this evening. She's a new member of Globie, and seems to be concentrating on racing games. I do enjoy racing games and cars, and haven't found a vtuber that's hitting that spot for me yet, so I thought I'd check her out and give some impressions:

- She's a giraffe vtuber. She's very busy with hair style, but the model is cute and expressive enough, and her outfit is generically racing-themed, but with more of an emphasis on being a cute anime girl than realism, if you care about that sort of thing.
- She's got a very goofy and silly style about her
- She seems to know at least a little about cars. For example, she knew that old-school Porsches were air-cooled before being switched to water-cooled, seemed to know what a Peel P50 was, knows what Itasha is, and dropped a reference to Max Verstappen. Her interest in racing and cars seems genuine, at least from my initial impressions of her.

- She has a racing wheel, although the two racing games she's played so far have been arcade racing (NFS Unbound and Forza 5). She used a controller since they're arcade racers. She typically plays a mix of arcade and sim racing games, but has only done arcade racers so far. I'm looking forward to seeing her playing more sim-oriented racers in the future.
- When she plays racing games at least, she doesn't do much in the way of zatsu-ing before jumping right into the game (about ten minutes or so for the two streams I watched). I don't mind talents who chat longer, but this is a very nice change of pace.
- It's hard to judge her ability as a racer so far, since she hasn't done any online racing that I've seen, or been doing time trials where you can see an objective measure of her ability. She's also got the obvious streamer debuff.
- She's said she'd do online racing with chat members in the future, which is a pretty cool way of involving her community in her streams.
I'd be interested to see her branch out to other types of car content - perhaps rating viewer cars, talking about her favourite cars or brands, reading car magazines or car classified magazines, and so forth. I think it would be good content, and would fit in with her brand.
Overall, she's pretty fun and she's sating my car autism. I've got enough vtubers to watch already, but I guess I'm adding another girl to the list.
