I always underestimate the shorts meta. In just an hour of streaming she's gained 1k subs. Why does YouTube's shitty algorithm favor the content that brings them the least amount of money?
Because they were hoping to steal viewers away from tiktok; once they got them over to youtube, they hoped the new viewers would naturally seek out longer videos by the same creators whos shorts they enjoyed and eventually become normal viewers. Its worked to an extent, but I'm not sure stifling channels that didn't want to do shorts was worth it.
