Also I clipped a streamer milestone of mine that @Todd's Mistake was witness to. You can hear him chat "Talk shit get split" and that couldn't be more true here
There are some other fun or interesting moments in that mostly dead air stream that I'll eventually sift through and clip so stay tuned for more bonuses
Dead air is probably one of the hardest "hurdles" to overcome when streaming, because it requires you to externalize a lot of what would otherwise be internal thoughts or decision making stuff, and/or having something to talk on to fill space when you don't have other interactions to bounce off of. It's a killer for small streams with no chat presence because speaking out loud to yourself can feel insanely mindnumbing and futile, but you can start to get used to it. The sign you've fully engaged with streamerbrain is when you're stream-of-thought-dumping to your coffee machine in the morning.
One thing I found helpful, when you're watching some kind of gameplay content in someone else's stream, try thinking of what you would say in a chat context. Any kind of commentary on events, actions, information you might know on the game, etc. that you might chat at the streamer. Getting that kind of mindset running where you can turn gameplay into monologue is helpful to the end goal of voicing that monologue to your screen while streaming. Getting used to that and dead air won't be as much of a problem. The next step is learning how to be funny.
