Ok soo lets focus on the main thing Lia said: "behind the scenes a lot of things arent really working out for
ME", now lets get to some points about this topic:
-Im gonna be direct here, its because of her numbers and expectations of being Phase EN gen 1 member, if i were to count streams Lia did 1k+ ccv this year it would be around 5 + Andy and Leyley saga, maybe im wrong but its hard to remember instances were she was doing good this year unless they were collabs.
-Add to that the inclusion of Quest, IF phase was not doing good behind the scenes then why would Clio and Mari sign with Sakana, it would not make sense.
-Lia is also streaming in a VERY overlapped timezone, add to that the Quest girls inclusion and when you look at the numbers on prime overlap time it looks really bad in Lia's part, and one could say "but there are other girls that dont do good either and look at the JP's too", regarding the JP's, they dont have the same expectations cause they are fighting an uphill battle due to Phase audience being mainly EN, and the other EN gens also kinda get a pass compared to Lia cause she compared to them is one of the OG's.
-Now lets add her genmates who each are doing amazing by small corpo standards, and throw in there being one of the 100k vtubers under Phase, in an era of vtubing where shorts abuse is popular and some are deemed "fake 100k vtubers", what do you all think she feels seeing her ccv but then seeing her sub count?
-Then there is the 3D stuff that she likes that she didnt seemed that hyped about when offkai 3D concert was brought into the conversation, i think this is just confirmation that the dancing and coreography that she wanted to do with Rie and maybe other girls is not gonna happen and thats why she was sad about it, this also leads me to my next point.
-She realized that Phase is gonna be now 99% content first and 1% idol stuff, which was pretty obvious but i guess she had faith that she could convince Sakana the same way she convinced him into investing in 3D.
Now to summarize everything, i think is just what McSpic said
She might feel like she is wasting her time cause things in Phase are being run to what the majority likes and not what she and a few others like, and also due to her ccv since start of 2025 (and ill even say 2024) she probably has lost a lot of bargaining power.
Her streaming career is going on a downward spiral that she doesnt seem able to escape from most likely due to creation block, similar to what Hina straight up admitted to last year after her vacation in April.
"What can she do? any solutions?"
Spend irl time with her genmates and coworkers, she should have gone to that company trip and if she had problems gather all the girls and talk directly with Sakana and management while having dinner, but i got the feeling she already did that on other trips, then i guess she should not force herself into staying, maybe she should graduate once her contract expires which according to Pippa is 2027 (also wtf wasnt that contract signed this year? if she was unhappy why did she signed it?) or negotiate an exit for their 5th anniversary next year and go the affiliate route to see what life has for her outside of vtubing and pursue her dreams; and if she doesnt like it, she is free to comeback.
Personal final note
I dont think is anything serious, Sakana respects their Gen 1 a lot, we saw how he paid them a trip to Japan multiple times and let them get away with a lot of stuff, i think is just an issue of Lia streaming performance and company direction (would be like if Yagoo told Suisei to go all in into being a streamer)
Also sorry if this post came out as too harsh but i felt like this was the moment to say how i feel about current Lia.
